Nice looking but very light weight like basic scissors. I paid more because they looked heavier with the two tones. They look better but perform the same as cheaper ones.

Use to cut small plants. Works good.

The best part of these kitchen scissors is that they're light weight. The handles are synthetic rather than metal. The yellow finish I think makes them stain-resistant, so they're easy to clean. The downside of these scissors is that the 'jaws' are not long enough. There is a kind of a divot close to the pivot. I think that curving edge is supposed to be a bone cutter. Unfortunately the feature also shortens the usable length of the cutting edge, so it doesn't really 'cut' through chicken or steak, rather it 'nibbles' its way through.I just measured them. The distance from pivot to tip is 3.5 inches. The usable cutting edge distance from the divot to the tip is 2 inches. So these are 2-inch scissors.I ended up ordering a different set of scissors. The newer scissors are curved, have serrated cutting edges, and are about 7 inches long. They're all metal, so those scissors can take the stress of cutting through tendon, small chicken bones, etc. Those work perfectly fine.

I bought these for a very specific purpose which is cutting up old CDs and DVDs. (so not to ruin my good all purpose scissors).They have held up and I've cut up over 400 cds/dvds. My only complain is I get an abrasion on my thumb where the plastic handle hits BUT ... I'm using them to cut up about 40 cds in a row - So that's on me and my misuse not on the product itself.I've started to branch out using these for other things like paper, cardboard, plastics. And they are still going strong.The blades are not nicked and are still sharp.I have hand washed them 3 or 4 times and air dried. No rust so far.

Bought them because I needed new shears for clipping my chickens wings, cuts clean and was able to get through 15 chicken fast with minimal stress to them.

The reason I decided to purchase new kitchen scissors is because my old Henkel ones starter to get a little dull after a few years. The price of these ones is great, but even being brand new, they are still a bit more dull than my 3-yeard-old Henkel.

I thought the curved blades would be cool and perform well on some tougher things, but that simply isn't the case for me. I would have been much better off getting straight bladed shears/scissors. Beyond that though, those are very nice and sturdy. Finish is great, they are sharp, handles have good grip, etc.

I have pretty big hands, and these shears are uncomfortable for me to use. My wife thinks they're great, however, so I suppose they'll stay in our drawer.So yeah, if you have big hands, look elsewhere. The Big & Tall Scissor Store, maybe. Someone should Kickstart that.

I had to give them a 3 star. These shouldn't be advertised as anti rust. They rusted within 3 weeks of owning them. I ways keep them dry too. They are sharp and strong though.

Been using kitchen shears for years. This are lovely. They make my life so much easier. I cut meat and herbs with these with ease. Easy to clean and comfortable to use. Great product!
