6" College Dental Tweezer

I use these tweezers for delicate jobs for example repairing jewelry, or other intricate jobs around the house. They are made well, useful and a good price.

These tweezers don't appear much different from the "College Tweezers No.8 15cm Rust Free German Steel - Dental" tweezers i ordered along with this one from the same company, even though the pictures show more noticeable differences between the two individual tweezers. Also, the interior, or inner part of the tweezers aren't smooth enough to be used for dental purposes. The smoother the metal, the more cleaner and sanitary it will remain. The metal appears very smooth on the outside but not on the inside. The lines on the inner part at the very top are normal for gripping things, but the visible lines flowing downward on the inner part of these tweezers are just non-smooth craftsmanship. These are ok, but could be better. I have bought other tweezers which are smooth on the inner part and outer, and therefore more sanitary and less prone to rusting. Smoother is better. Like i said, these are just ok. I'm not completely satisfied. These need to be crafted better and if they cost more for better craftsmanship in the future, then that's fine in my opinion.

Excellent product, purchase for my hair bow making, for placing ribbon in a flame to stop fraying.

Really really bad quality. The tips don't even align, the tweezers don't even lock. Spend your money elsewhere.

The most common "surgical steels" are 316 stainless and 440,420 stainless steels. They are not made of quality stainless steel one would think as the term implies, Had them for a week or so and rust has develop, yes it is also possible for stainless steel to corrode (rust) there are many grades of stainless some are more prone to corrosion than others, low chromium content. Generally the higher the chromium content, the less likely the steel will rust. Hobby grade they may be, dental labs, surgical grade they are not, IMHO.
