Great choice!
The quality of these tweezers exceeded my expectations. I’m happy to have explored Amazon to have stumbled upon these. I’m writing this review more than a year later of purchase and still feel that they’re nearly new, even after daily use.

heat resistant and great for soldering beginners
I have started playing around with soldering copper. I am mostly making small things (practice pieces with copper blanks and wire) plus I am doing some heating of wire in attempts to make headpins with little balls on the end. Although I need more practice with all of the above, I have found these tweezers to be quite helpful. They are heat resistant although I am also usually wearing work gloves out of an abundance of caution (the gloves are made of a natural material, always a good idea when working with flame, because I am soldering with a handheld butane torch). So anyway, I use these tweezers to move or pick up items I've made that might be hot. This is pretty much what they were designed for, and they carry out that function quite well. What I particularly like is that they are cross-locking (squeeze to open, remove pressure to close). I am used to tweezers like this from my time in graduate school (in chemistry) so they were intuitive for me to use, but if you are used to using tweezers to pluck your eyebrows or remove splinters, these are a little different.I find them to be reasonably well-made. I don't think they're machined quite as nicely as more expensive items, but the quality, to me, is acceptable for the cost, and I do find them to be a good value. (Keep in mind, though, I am also a beginner at all this.)

Just what I needed to help fix all of the watches in our house.
I bought a small watch repair kit I on Amazon so I could take the pins out of my very expensive ($15) waterproof watch and replace the battery. All of a sudden my wife finds every watch she ever had and asks me to fix them too. Since the shed is not too comfy there was little to think about. After buying all the batteries I was going to need, on Amazon of course, I was having a lot trouble holding onto small items with the set of electronics grade tweezers I have. Plus, they kept bending at the tips if... when I squeezed too hard.I did a quick search and found these. I didn't expect much considering how inexpensive they were but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. They held onto all the small parts I needed them to and they didn't bend when I used them. They're sold at a great price and they work very well. (No, I don't work for the seller and I didn't get ANYTHING to write this review.) I will definitely buy from this seller again.I am very happy with these tweezers.

Not bad.
These are decent cross lock tweezers. Fair tension, good angle, decent tips, and good length. However, the wood on the handles is very blocky. No round over or chamfer on them, just a piece of square wood. This obviously isn't the end of the world and they still work just as well, but would have been a nice touch.

One of my new favorite tools! Excellent for soldering
Cross lock tweezers are amazing! This is my first pair and I'm not sure how I lived without them before. If your new to them like I am let me explain. Normally you pinch tweezers to hold something. In this case you pinch the tweezers to release what they are holding! For me this means I can use them for things like soldering, the tweezers are strong and I can easily have them holding my copper pendants while I torch them. My hands sometimes shake and are a little weak, they get tired easily, from my illness, these relieve a lot of that strain allowing me to spend time enjoying creating...which is why I do it :-)Overall these are strong, comfortable, sturdy, feel solid in my hands while working and are a great tool for soldering. I'm pleased with my purchase and will be purchasing more in the future.

Good tweezers
Tight hold, easy to use. grip like a vice, but don't mar harder metals like copper.I have no clue what metal these are made of, but it doesn't look like stainless, so if you use these for jewelry making, keep them out of your pickle like I do.Great product. Still using these, 2 years later. They grip fine and the tips are still good after 100's of solders and even being melted to glowing red hot temps.A great buy!
