Iron is good and easy to use

Just arrived to-day whilst I was ironing with my old iron which has been on the blink for a week or two.Started using this new one half way through "the pile". Firstly, I ordered this one because I like a heavier iron, and this one does not disappoint in that regard, so for me that is great (specially when the water tank is full of course). The iron appears to be solid and well made, with a long power cord, which wraps around the base (if you can be bothered waiting for it to cool down before putting it away - but that's subjective). Temperature control is good. It heats up fairly quickly. Like the auto shut off.Functions and operation is fine, pretty straightforward, and ergonomicically placed buttons. Constant steam level when on steam mode is sufficient and does not fluctuate. No drips. Sole plate glides well, and did not create much "bunching" of fabric. A very little perhaps, but really not significant, and easily flattened on another "pass". Steam burst is good on vertical or horizontal. No fill up jug provided, so rather than use an old one, I tried putting it under a slow running tap, the fill up area and hole size is fine to allow for that, but anyway, no jug is provided. The iron performs well enough, no complaints, and I will be happy using it s long as performance is maintained. One slight issue, which is subjective again, but I have fairly big hands, and I found it a tad awkward getting a comfy grip on the handle nothing desperate but slightly irritating, although I will probably get used to it. A very minor issue. Be aware, if you like a reasonably weighty iron, this is perfect. Its not difficult to use, since it glides well, but I would hazard a guess that it is a bit above average weight. Of course, that also helps it to do a good job.

Does a very good job ironing, runs out of water quiet fast if you are steaming and is heavy so if u have arthritis can be a problem. But otherwise irons clothes beautifully and does a quick job. I use this daily and it glides very well. Irons out wrinkled brilliantly but just slightly on the heavy side. It’s worth the price in my eyes.

This iron is light and easy to use. Only thin the lead is too short.

It’s a nice iron and have very efficient steam efficiency.

I bought this iron to replace a cordless steam iron. One of those big ones with a water tank. I was getting annoyed with how long it took to heat this cordless iron up. I would be just wanting to run an iron quickly over a shirt and would have to wait about five minutes for the clumbersome thing to get going!This iron is a corded alternative which certainly gets going quicker and it certainly does the job. I made sure to get an iron with a similar steam generating capacity which helps. You can also press the button to boost the steam. There is also a button for spraying the fabric before ironing, I was a bit taken back by how much heavier it was, but then I was used to an iron where the water is in a tank rather than kept on board the iron which obviously would increase the weight. I’ve soon got used to it though. Better workout for the arms!My only real criticism is the dial that controls the temperature is underneath the handle (as it usually is) and it’s very easily knocked with your hand as you pick the iron up and put it down. The issue is this dial is far too loose, so if you inadvertently catch this dial with your knuckle, it easily turns which obviously affects the temperature. So I can be ironing jeans on the silk setting and finding it doesn’t take out the creases or I could be ironing silk on the cotton setting and burn the fabric. I wish they would sort this out because it’s a great iron otherwise.

The colour of the Iron was a great match with the aesthetics of my bedroom, but that aside, it works great. The steam works great, the heat levels can get the crinkles out of my shirts quite quickly and easily. It doesn't cause limescale to rub off into your clothes with some cheap irons, but then again, this is by no means as cheap as a lot of the irons on Amazon, so if you have the money, then definitely consider this one!

I would have loved to use it for ironing, but fitted with UK plug.

Good iron but has a European plug, easily handled with my overseas adaptor. However, reading water level is difficult due to dark plastic.
