Hello, The glue instructions on the glue package. Please follow this instruction to prepare the glue; - Pour the glue slowly in 2.5 liters or 1.5 liters (for one package, please check the glue package for the liter) water while mixing. Do not spill the entire package at once. (To prevent clumping.) - Mix it for a 3-5 min -Wait 10 min for after the mixing - Apply glue to the backside of the first panel - Apply the first panel to the wall. Return to the previous step and continue with the second panel. Kind Regards.

Q: Description notes it needs glue. How is it that it leaves no residue if it needs glue?

The glue is supplied with the wall paper but since I did not use it, I don't know if it leaves residue or not. The paper is thin and not suited for textured wall. If you order the smaller sizes the bottom is cut off, so instead of an image shrunken down to size, you just lose the long peacock tail on the bottom of the image.
