The First Years Take and Toss Spill Proof Straw Cups, 10 Ounce

Perfect for everyday use
I’ve been using this cup for 11 years. I still actually have my original set and I see the same quality in the new cups. The straws are easy to replace. I tend to use regular disposable straws since young kids sometimes bite those hard straws and ruin them pretty quickly, but you can also buy the replacement straws if needed. When you place the lid on the cup, there are 2 options:1. Place the lid on without the straw and place the straw in once it’s sealed.2. Leave the straw in the lid but pull in up so there’s maybe half an inch sticking in the inside of the cup, place the lid on and push the straw down.If you don’t do that, then you will find a mini firework show shooting from your straw.Straw is easy to clean and makes it the go to cup for everyday use!

Better for older toddlers
These cups would be better suited for older toddlers/kids, as they will leak everywhere if knocked over or tossed to the floor. The kids don't leak, but the straws do. If there is no straw in the lid, it will also leak (for obvious reasons). Also, when trying to put the straw in/put the lid on the liquid in the cup will shoot up through the straw/straw hole, and it is very frustrating and messy. They're sturdy, easy to clean, and easy to hold, so I'm giving them a star for each of those. Best to use when at a picnic, bbq, camping, etc. to keep things out of kids' drinks.

Not so leak proof
Have been using these cups for about a week now and have already had 2 big spills with them. One was after a chuck from the high chair. Other I can only imagine my toddler was pulling on straw and lid popped off. Heard the milk gush to the floor. These accidents wouldn’t bother me so much if this isn’t what is was advertised to prevent.

Lisa stay on!
Absolutely wonderful for Putting veggie/fruit shakes in for my toddler to take to school. Lids stay on and if they get lost at school it’s not tons of $$ out of my pocket.Warning: don’t have straw inserted when putting on the lid….contents will spray out of the straw.

THE BEST
I literally searched for WEEKS for a suitable cup for my 1 year old. I am not one to write reviews but felt like I had to share. Here’s what I was looking for--a straw that was easy to suck (just like an adult straw as my son drinks from mine perfectly and gets frustrated with all sippy cups because it’s too hard to suck)-spill proof-not too expensive-straw not easy to removeMy son is currently tipping the cup upside down and his smoothie isn’t spilling. The straw does come out but it’s not as easy as all other sippy cups.

Love these!
We love these cups for our kiddos. They are easy to clean & use, which is always a positive. My kiddos tend to chew on the straws so we did invest in some other straws to go with, but no complaints.

Mismatched items
I haven’t tried these yet, but it’s disappointing that I received two red lids and a red straw but no red cup, an orange cup but no orange lid or straw, a blue cup but no blue lid and a green cup but no green lid. I also missed that these cannot be returned.

Great for toddler milk drinking, so easy to use and clean
Very pleased with these cups. My daughter wouldn't drink much milk out of a spout cup, but the straw cup does the trick, and these are super easy to clean and for her to hold. I wouldn't call them spill-proof, but when they do fall to the floor from a high chair, there's either very minimal spill or almost no spill. The top stays on every time it falls, but liquid does come out a little from where the straw is.

Helped my 9 mo learn how to drink from a straw immediately!
Amazing. Bought these for this very reason and they absolutely work! Just squeeze a little so the water goes into their mouth and the baby realises what the straw does and how to drink from it! Amazing. Tried with a regular straw bottle many times before this and she’d just chew the straw. Thumbs up for teaching function.. not using long so can’t vouch for quality

The cups work fine but I was given two mismatched lids and one mismatched straw! Can I get a replacement?!

Just what I need for my toodler
My baby likes to spill water on table when we gave her cup, with this glass when straw is on, it almost spill-proof amd she wouldnt make a mess anymore.
