Pretty much perfect.
This bag fits everything i take to work, charger, books, lighters, pens & ill find more to stick in there. I never even concidered wearing a bag ever. Never crossed my mind but my girlfriend has an eye for quality items as shes a boujie chick. She mentioned a nice quality leather bag, showed me the picture and i had to agree. It did look pretty neat and i kinda always had like 10 things with me as i went to work, even forgetting somethings at times.. Now i have this bag and i must say. Never thought I'd ever be into or even concider wearing such a thing, but now its like a must & i cant wait to find things to put in it lol. When it arrived i made sure i didn't jam the knife straight down the middle, like one guy did on here claiming it arrived that way. Lol i believe that wasn't on the company. It was for sure a user error & polare hooked em up anyways which showed integrity. Anyways what you're getting here is a quality product from a company that cares. I would def purchase again. Very happy with this purchase.

I love this bag!
I bought the Polare Leather Cross Body Sling Bag to use as my EDC (Every Day Carry) bag. You can call it a man purse if you want to. I have a larger bag and I simply put too much stuff in it. It became a chore to move it around. This bag is large enough to carry my most important gear and small enough that I won't be able to overload it. Fully loaded, the bag weighs about 8.5 lbs. or 3.5 kg.The leather is thick and supple. The stitching is well done. The overall construction seems very sturdy. Exactly what I was looking for.My only concern is where the carry strap attaches to the bag. I would prefer to see more reinforcement at the attachment point. Time will tell if my concerns are justified or not.The bag has a large main compartment with a small interior pocket. There is a medium size pocket on the back of the bag where I keep pens, pencils, and a writing pad. The front of the bag has three pockets or pouches. One is large enough to hold my multitool, extra tool-tips, a large ferro rod and my bug bite remedy. The second pocket is large enough to hold a small bottle of soap, a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a couple of small plastic trash bags. The third pocket is very small and will only hold something very flat. I have a couple of loops of duct tape in there. A long zipper at the back of the bag allows the bag to expand to its full size. The main compartment and all of the pockets are lined with a smooth fabric, probably polyester. The lining is of a decent weight. I don't think that it will wear or fray very easily. At the top of the bag is a small, removable pouch. The pouch has a zippered compartment where I carry a bottle of insect repellent and a carabiner. The pouch has a small pocket with a flap. That pocket is only large enough to hold a whistle and a small lighter. The carry strap is made of a canvas material faced with leather. It has a large plastic buckle in the middle of the strap. The strap is adjustable and can be made quite long. I usually carry it hung over my right shoulder or on my left shoulder with the bag hung across my back. With the strap as short as possible, the bag hangs at the small of my back and seems very stable. It doesn't slide to the side very much if I bend over. The bag has a pleasant leather odor. I don't think the smell is too strong. As of this writing, I've had the bag for about a month. I've used it every day and so far it has met or exceeded all my expectations.

I love it
It got to the point where I almost had to have a jacket - no matter what the weather - just for the pockets so I could carry all the miscellaneous stuff I seem to need on a daily basis. I'd never considered carrying a bag before, but I started looking into it. Tried a few different styles and didn't really like any of them. Most of them either look like mini-backpacks or have a bunch of extraneous "buckles to nowhere" just for looks. I looked at PU leather, canvas, etc., and I just wasn't happy with any of them. I finally found this Polare and I'm really liking it - it doesn't look like a purse or a backpack and it really has quite a lot of room inside. There are various zippered pockets of various sizes and usefulness, but it's so unique looking and the ultra-soft leather is very, very comfortable - it feels great in your hands. I'm still trying different pockets for different things - there are eight pockets in all - a couple are quite small. The "pouch" on the outside on the very top is held in place with a strap that snaps - it's loose and flops around a bit. It has a tight pocket on the front with a snap-flap and is zippered across the top. A pack of cigarettes (100s) fits perfectly in the pouch and a lighter or two can go in the flapped pocket. Directly below that is a zippered pocket that can hold my iPhone 6 - it JUST fits, height-wise but has room to spare on either side. Below that is the main exterior pouch-pocket. It zips around two sides and can hold a lot of stuff - built into the front of that is a smaller, very slim, zippered compartment - small, but more roomy than it looks. The long zipper that runs almost the length of the bag (on the left of the bag in the photo) is only to expand the depth of the main compartment - zip it down and you expand the depth by a about a couple of inches. On the back of the bag is a fairly large ziippered pocket that could hold flat things - paper documents (folded), passport, tickets, or boarding passes, etc. On the right side of the bag, as you look at the photo, is the curved zippered flap that is the access to the main compartment. It is very roomy and has no dividers or pouches or anything of that kind - just a big compartment (like a purse). There is another zippered pocket inside against the back of the bag - again, it would hold things like a checkbook, wallet, etc... mostly flat-ish things. The main compartment, which extends all the way up to the point at the top, can hold a ton of stuff - umbrella, you name it. My iPad 2, even with the hardshell case, fits with just a little bit of angling, no problem, but you have to "feed" it in at an angle. It's perfect. As I've experimented with what fits where and how I'm going to use this, I decided to order a zippered nylon case (pencil case) to hold things like chargers, AC adapters, ear buds, pen, sharpie, spare batteries... little things that could get tangled or leak and that I usually don't need quick access to - this way I can just toss the thing in the main compartment and it'll be easy to find - by feel - no matter what else is in there at the moment. So... there it is - I like this bag a lot - it's different than any other "sling bag" I've seen, the leather is extremely soft and pliable - even smells great - and I think it's gonna be very functional. The construction seems very solid. Oh, and I'd read a couple of reviews where people complained that the strap is too long. Not even. The strap has a plastic, clip-together, "buckle" in about the middle and the upper half of the strap is adjustable. I tried a few different lengths and settled on having the bottom of the bag being just an inch or so below my belt on the back of my pants. It can be much shorter and much longer than where I have it set. I don't see how anybody would think the strap was too long. I did not get paid for this review and I received no merchandise in exchange, either. I just bought the bag after a week or so of shopping around and.... I love it.
