G-Form Pro-X Padded Compression Shirt, Black Logo, Adult

I was a little apprehensive about buying this shirt given the price but it was definitely worth the extra money. The shirt is light and easy to put on and remove. The shirt has mesh panels on the side for venting and is comfortable to wear for long periods. The protective pads are in the right places and provide a good amount of protection. I couldn't find any other shirts that provided the same amount of protection for the shoulders and ribs as the G-Form shirt. Most other shirts I looked at provide protection to the top of the shoulder but not the ball joint area which is a likely impact area. I bought one size up as I didn't want a tight compression fit and the shirt fits well without being to restrictive. I'm very happy with the purchase even though it was a little more expensive than the competition.

I'm getting on in years, and like to ride testy tracks but don't want any more broken ribs and least of all shoulder injuries, so though it was time for some upper body protection. Not wanting to look like robo cop I looked about a bit and found the G-Form, to date my eagle eye mates have not spotted it yet so that's cool! So far so good. It's quite snug - but that's good (measure twice on the size chart and then once more for good measure). The fabric is cool, soft, there's no seam rub and so far no overheating - the confidence it gives you is worth it - highly recommended. Also, shipping was super fast. 5 Stars!

I use it for mountain biking during races after a few injuries including broken ribs. It fits pretty true, probably a little tight. If you are in between go the size up. It's not meant to be the end all of protection and is not going to save you from a big direct hit, but will lessen the blow.

I have worn just about every type of hidden armor for SCA combat. This one beats them all. The same type of padding as Zoombang, only protects better, is more comfortable, and less than half the price. I wear this and a kidney belt, and have taken shots to the ribs by Dukes the size of Cave Trolls with not a single bruise.

It fits well and the quality is nice, but for the little amount of protection it offers— at this price— I would look elsewhere.I don't feel it's offering enough protection. This would be good for a light mountain bike ride through the woods, but nothing extreme.Zero spinal protection and minimal padding everywhere that has a pad.If you want this for something on the concrete or asphalt, pass on these. It is was well made, but poorly designed.

I tried the shirt a week ago for the first time. It fits tight on the body as I want and expected (M size), but it's too tight on the neck, but got used to it after a while. It was a ~22 C weather and it felt quite comfortable and airy, I wonder how it'll be in a 30 C weather.

I recently started wearing armor to mountain bike after a few very bad injuries. I ride a lot on technical rocky trails and in tight NE trees on natural and bermed up trails. I tried several foam armor options- this shirt is perfect- it covers my ribcage and shoulders. I have several times had wipeouts where the Gform foam did the trick. It is not too warm- I wear it under a technical shirt ( so I don't look like a hardo) and am not uncomfortable in the 70's and lower 80's...I have hit trees with my shoulder and had branches pop my collarbone area and the padding dulled it out amazingly. And I have wiped out onto rocks on my side and feel sure I would have cracked ribs if I hadn't been wearing it. I am 5'8" and 175Lbs

This Shirt with the Shorts, I feel protected - not too hot in the summer, and keeps me warm enough in the winter.

Quality and pad placement/ feel is top notch. Fit runs small. I’m at 39” chest, 5’8” tall. The medium fits good/ tight. I’d probably order large if I did it again just to have some extra space. It’s a compression shirt after all, any size will fit, just depends how much of a squeeze you’re used to.
