Preparation is everything!
After reading some negative reviews on these not sticking well I was a little hesitant. Having had one on a previous truck of mine with no issues I decided to go for it. After 6000 miles in the harsh Wyoming winter it hasn't moved a bit. The key is to make sure you clean the surface really good and when you think it's good enough, clean it again. This product has also clearly saved my hood from a few rock chips. AVS is my go to brand for things like this.

Not alot of photos out there on the chrome version. Im usaully a blacked out look but dont feel like changing everything on the chrome lariat package. I think it looks good. Took about 15 minutes. Clean first, alcohol prep 2nd, surface prep 3rd, and stick.

Easy to install and looks great
I was hesitant to purchase after the mixed reviews. I’m glad I went with the chrome one. If you clean and prep the surface, it adheres to the hood very good. The install took me 30 minutes only because I removed the old broken hood shield. I highly recommend this product! It fits like a glove!

Look good..vent good..auto windows take time to adjust for vent ..kick back open..one tab broke off on instalation..look good ondark trucks.

Poorest Attempt at a Chrome Finish I've Ever Seen
Installation and fit is good, that's about all the good for the chrome version. The chrome has a yellow tinge to it and looks terrible next to the chrome grill on the truck. The finish also has a heavy orange peel look to it so looks worse the closer you get. Emailed AVS and they responded that's just how they are. Will be seeking a refund and purchasing elsewhere.
