The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (PS4)

Arrived before delivery date and the game is fantastic. More of the same brilliant story and characters with a few improvementsSeemed like the art book was separate in the promo photos but it's just a game manual unfortunately :(

If you liked the first game then you will love the second. You get to revisit all previous locations from the first game and get to see new areas connected to them. Character development is fantastic, as with any Falcom game, and the new battle mechanics are a welcome step forward adding more tactical options. Overall its a solid jrpg for fans and a truly underrated gem.

Not my personal favourite, the pase is a bit off. But is still a good Trails game

Great port of the psvita version but please play the first one or you will be lost!

One of the best jrpg series im ever played in my life worht it any penny

finally released for the ps4 after a long 6-7 week wait after finishing the first game on ps4, unfortunately I didn’t want to wait and bought the 2nd game on the vita which graphics wise is not the best however it looks far better on the ps4 also has all dlc which is a massive help especially if playing on a higher difficulty level 👍, the problem with the first game was that it was very linear and not much room for exploring however the 2nd game allows more freedom to explore as the game goes on 😀, length wise it took me 70 hours to complete doing all quests and getting as many trophies as I could on a first play through, romance wise it is very difficult to choose but you can reload if desired to see as many as possible providing your link level with them is high enough for me it had to be instructor Sara but like I say it was tough as Emma, Alisa and Laura are also great 👍 it will be interesting to see if you can carry over data from this game into cold steel 3 when released in September but apparently you can’t hopefully they will change this, overall a great improvement from the first game a great story wish they was more games like it 😀 can’t wait for 3rd game and see where the story goes next definitely a must play through for any RPG fan 👍

It's a great game I played the first one and seconed one on my ps vita all the time.Only down thing I can say is that I had to buy them again for the ps4. Because the 3rd one is Ps4 and not ps vita.

An amazing second game of a fantastic series!

I discovered the Trails series, created by NIhon Falcom, thanks to the decline of Square Enix quality, which forced me to search for different RPG developers, and since then it became my favorite RPG series of all time, far superior than the Final Fantasy that got me into RPGs.This game specializes in world building through a great story, wonderful characters and well written dialogues. Each Trails Game includes the same amount of text as the entire Harry Potter book collection, which means there's a lot for you to read and discover.The turn base gameplay in this games is also fantastic, requiring you to use good strategies in order to win your fights... in the higher difficulties many boss battles can get really demanding, so maybe the normal difficulty is the one I'd recommend to newcomers.The Graphics of the first two Trails of Cold Steel games are from the PS3 era, but remastered, and they look cool. The world they present to us is created with care, and it's beautiful discover it while exploring it.In closing, if you like RPGs and enjoy reading, the Trails Series will be a well deserved gift for you and your loved ones. You'll immerse in an amazing narrative which you'll come to love.PS: The Trails series has 12 game releases in english, at this moment, and the story of all of them is connected. Even though, Trails of Cold Steel 1&2 are great entry point into the series, given that they start a new arch based in Erebonia (a country withing the Trails world), and they really don't spoil anything relevant from the previous games... even though, if you played the previous games, you'll connect more with several side topics that are mentioned during these games.

Trails Of Cold Steel II per PS4 è un gioco di ruolo giapponese eccezionale, che prosegue le avventure della classe VII con una storia ricca di colpi di scena e personaggi ben sviluppati. Il gameplay offre battaglie a turni strategiche e una grande libertà di esplorazione. La versione per PS4 include miglioramenti grafici e tecnici rispetto alle versioni precedenti, rendendo l'esperienza di gioco ancora più fluida. Ideale per i fan dei JRPG e per chi cerca una trama coinvolgente con ore di contenuti.

Das Spiel würde ich mit 3 Sternen bewerten. Es ist bereits der 2 Teil. Man muss unbedingt den 1. Teil gespielt haben, sonst kann man der Story nicht folgen.Die Geschichte um Krieg und Frieden ist eigentlich sehr schön. Auch bietet es einige Abwechslung und das Kampfsystem ist sehr vielseitig.Mich persönlich nerven die teils sehr langen Dialogphasen und auch, dass man zu jeder neuen Tageszeit alle Menschen in einer Stadt oder einem Gebiet erneut ansprechen muss, um alle Quests, Gegenstände usw. zu erhalten. Das ist mir auf Dauer zu langweilig. Da gibtvrs für mich bessere Rollenspiele.Danke für das Lesen meiner Rezension. Ich hoffe, sie ist hilfreich. :)

El juego mejora un poco graficamente y añade mecánicas jugables nuevas en los combates por turnos y en la exploración. La música sigue siendo excelente. La historia continua justo donde acabó el primer juego, por lo que debe de quedar claro que es imprescindible haber jugado el primer juego antes de empezar este. Básicamente, más que una secuela o segunda parte al uso parece el segundo disco de un juego completo.Se supone que cuando llegue la tercera parte si que habrá un gran salto gráfico,aunque la historia seguirá siendo el último cacho que falta.El juego como no podía ser de otra manera llega en inglés y con voces para elegir entre japonés o inglés . Cómo mejoras de esta versión respecto a PS3 y PS Vita, tiene resolución 1080p, una opción para acelerar los combates y poco más. No deja de ser un port de PS3 optimizado al máximo.Poco más que decir, ya que si estás leyendo esto seguramente habrás jugado a la primera parte o pensabas comprarla. No creo que nadie compre este juego sin haber jugado o tener la primera parte.Como punto negativo dos cosas: La primera que el precio es un poco elevado para ser un juego de anterior generación a fin de cuentas. Y segundo, un tirón de orejas por parte de Amazon, ya que no deberían enviar los paquetes en una simple cajita de cartón sin acolchado alguno. El de correos tuvo la genial idea de meterlo forzado en el buzón y la carátula se dañó. Suelen siempre subirlo a casa pero esta vez fue así. Y lo peor es que en realidad en la etiqueta del paquete siempre pone entrega en el buzón. Creo yo que aparte de enviarlo mejor protegido, ya que lo pedí siendo cliente prime ,al menos debería indicar entrega en mano. Tuve que hacer una devolución y me enviaron otro, el cual ya me dieron en mano pero por desgracia el disco estaba suelto dentro, como consecuencia de no enviarlo bien protegido como he dicho anteriormente. Una empresa como Amazon no se puede permitir esas mezquindades en los envíos.
