Blue Diamond Gourmet Almonds, Black Truffle, 5 Ounce

Good almonds.... nice and crunchy. At first I thought they were too salty but I quickly got use to the seasoning and ended up liking these almonds a lot.UPDATE 2022-05-13: Downrating to 4 stars because I just opened a bag (in mid May 2022) that was "BEST IF USED BY" July 9 2022 and it tasted rancid... so I don't know what happened but it was a big disappointment. Hopefully not a common occurrence.UPDATE 2022-05-24: I "complained" to Blue Diamond (via their website) and they sent me some good coupons to make up for it so I'm upping my rating back up to 5.

I came across this (in a large packaging) in Costco for the first time a while back and really really enjoyed it. Just like every popular thing you saw in Costco, you never seen them coming back again for a few years. So it is great to see it again on Amazon and I ordered two right away and this is the second order. I really enjoyed this flavor and each piece of almond is complete and very tasty. I even put other nuts in the bag to get the same flavor too. It is a perfect balance between a high quality almonds and perfect flavor. Highly recommended.

My daughter gave me a bag of these almonds a few months ago. I fell in love with them.The truffle flavor is subtle, and my husband said they were a little salty, BUT THEY ARE STILL MY FAVORITE ALMOND. I also tried the rosemary, garlic, and sea salt flavors. They are all excellent. The almonds are skinless and crunchy without being hard or too dry. I already reordered all the flavors. They are a little expensive for an every-day snack, but the taste and texture really are "gourmet!"

My headline pretty much says it all! I am on a weight-loss program and almonds are very healthy if you eat them in moderation, as even healthy fats need to be eaten this way. When I got this package I carefully measured out a one-ounce portion and ate it. Then I went and got the bag and finished it off! Even while working to lose weight you can eat anything if your portion is small enough, but there are some things I have learned I just can't buy, and this is one of them. I highly recommend these for the flavor if you don't have to worry about eating too many!

These have a very unique truffle flavor (well truffle is unique) but I find the flavor to be a little too strong. So I tried toning it down by mixing them with some dark chocolate, almond bark thins. The combination makes honey-like flavor. Very interesting - give it a try!The only con is by themselves, these are flavored too strongly but I bought them to mix with other stuff anyways. Be careful what you mix them with. If it’s dried fruit the dust flavoring will stick to those and create little truffle flavor disasters.

If these nuts took human form I would marry them! The flavor and crunch are immaculate!! I came across these one time at a rest stop in the middle of no where and ate the whole bag in one sitting and the guilt I felt after realizing the serving size was validated because they’re so good! I haven’t been able to find them in a store sense so Amazon to the rescue to reunite me with these almonds! If you like truffle you will live these cuz the flavor is POTENT. 10/10

I love almonds.My local grocery store carried these for years and for years I always bought them. For the amount that is in the packaging these are expensive. But I feel the flavor that these off are bar none.Then one day they were gone. Pulled off of every shelf at every store I've been to from New York to Florida. I have no idea why. But I found out that amazon carries these and through their subscription program they can be delivered frequently and at a discounted price.I don't want to say the flavor that these deliver is like a regular salted almond because it really isn't. The pink himalayan salt gives that extra *umf* and really makes this great. I'm going on my 2nd month of a subscription service with them and I absolutely love it

I purchased both these and Squirrel Brand truffle almonds, and they each have their strengths and weaknesses. The Squirrel Brand have a stronger truffle flavor, but they're way saltier. These aren't a salt bomb, but they're also weaker in flavor overall. If you don't mind a whole lot of sodium, and spending a little more, you'd be better off with Squirrel Brand if you want strong truffle flavor. These aren't bad at all though. The pouch was well-made and resealed well, which I can't really say for Blue Diamond's other almond flavors.
