Chefs Basics HW5231 18-Piece Stainless-Steel Barbecue Set with Carrying Case

The cooking tools work great for a starter kit. I left a review about this item's case being broken/cheap. They contacted me the very next day and were very apologetic about my disappointment with their product. they offered to send me a set of their BBQ mops free of charge as an apology. I can say that i was very surprised about how quick I got them, and how good they are. I wouldn't have expected something like that at all. I will be making more purchases from this company in the future based on there fantastic customer service..

Good cheap set for any grill master. Not top quality, but gets the job done.

I got this for my dad for Christmas and he loved it! Being someone who is always grilling something I knew he could use something like this. Since I was on a budget I did not think I would be able to find a decent priced one for my price range but I found this one. They are very sturdy and the wood handles were a nice touch. The only bad thing about this was the way UPS handled the package which was completely bent up when I received it but luckily everything inside was okay.

I bought this under the assumption the the quality would be low, but even then my expectations were too high. The metal used in these utensils is so flimsy that they are unuseable if you are cooking anything between hamburgers or hot dogs. The tongs included are so flimsy that they can't physically hold on to anything. The plastic case included is poorly made as well, and it's very difficult to open because of a poorly molded latch. Also, for some reason, most of the utensils had some weird yellowish cobweb like stuff stuck to the wood. I have no idea what that is, but I would assume it's not supposed to be there. Buy something else.

Got this kit for my boyfriend and he loves it. It's great that everything can be packed away and stored easily, it comes with everything you need to grill and they are good quality. Would make a great present or housewarming gift!

Some of the skewers were bent but I was able to straighten them out. Not all of the utensils were aligned correctly in their handles but do not seem loose. As I do not grill too often this seems like it will work for my purposes but if you grill frequently or are giving as a gift you will want to consider something else. Case holds everything well but looks like it should contain tools instead.

My daughters and I picked out this BBQ tool set for my husband for father's day. I was worried that for the price we got it at, it would be flimsy, but was so wrong! This is a great set for the casual griller. My husband loves this set and still uses it every time we grill out. It's been a few months and all of the tools in this set are still in great shape, even after 20+ BBQs at our house. For the price, you simply can't go wrong!
