Billet Turbocharger VF46 for Subaru Outback/Legacy GT 2.5L MD13 Gasoline Engine

Bought this in January 2021. Impeller came apart March 2022. Less than 9000 miles on the car since installed. Out of warranty by 2 months and not available any way. But, I wouldn't buy it again. A blown engine is not worth the low price of this turbo.

Update I've had this on for 6 months so far and put 6500 miles on it. So far so good. O had the down pipe off and checked for shaft play and so far I've had zero. My OEM turbo on my outback was getting some shaft play so I decided to play it safe and purchase a new one. I could have bought one from the dealership but they run about 1200. My engine already has a ton of miles and I figured if this one blew then it would be a good excuse to rebuild and buy a bigger turbo. So far I have put 1200 miles on the car and the turbo works great. Some people have problems with these less expensive turbos, but I primed it with a syringe before installing and replaced the filter in the oil feed line. I would recommend buying Grimmspeed gaskets because they are thick and I've never had a leak using them.

Failed within the first week of use

Installed by Southern States Subaru and functions perfectly. Taking it easy on the break-in and will update after some miles are accumulated. Happy so far!
