Wood Camping/Backpacking Stove Boil 1 qt of water in only 4 Min.

These are wonderful stoves. I have used mine on long canoe trips in Canada and on short hikes all around the country. No need to carry fuel. I use a pair off NiMH batteries and have a small solar charger, so I have been out for 4 weeks with just two batteries, which I also use for my flash light.I just gather twigs and little sticks and get a hot fire, which gets water boiling fast. One word of advice: put a bunch of twigs in a plastic bag to start the stove when it's raining. Once it's going well, you can use wet wood.I really love this stove. I had mine for 23 years. I just got this new one, because I left my old one back home in Maine and wanted one for out here in the Southwest.

Cooking on it is fantastic, as it will burn almost anything, even if it's wet. The latest version is very stable and can support my big heavy coffee pot with no problems.
