Nothing beats OEM
My 2009 Colorado came with an aftermarket key fob that works, but not all the time. Sometimes it will just refuse to work even when right up next to the truck. Changing the battery didn't help either. But this OEM fob works perfectly every time and the buttons are a lot more tactile when pressed than the aftermarket fob. For my 2009 colorado I had to use a scan tool to program it, but I know earlier GM vehicles you can program them yourself without a scan tool so be sure to do your research before you pay someone else to do it for you.

Exact duplicate of original fob that came with my 2012 Chevy Colorado. Fully functional after the dealership programmed it.Had a minor issue with the 'Lock' button sticking, corrected when I split the case and re-seated the gaskets holding the PC board in place. Also applied a bit of silicone spray on both buttons. Works like a champ now, so no stars off for that. Totally satisfied.Ironic that the fob cost less than the dealership charged for a 15-minute job to program it. What a scam!
