Great extra touch
It is as pictured. It is perfect accent piece for my needs. It is what you see, black metal letters but is an attractive addition to any wall without being overstated. It is easy to hang with a few finishing nails. To clear up one of the other reviews, 'famiglia' is the Italian word for family and 'familia' is the Spanish. To that person, when in doubt "google".

Beautiful Sign
I received the sign in the mail quickly. I think it could have been packaged better for the mail but thankfully no bends or damage to it.The lettering on it is beautiful. I love how it looks on my wall with my family pictures. There is no hanger on the back of it but I hung it by the letters. I was impressed with the quality of the sign so I ordered the Memories and Amore signs.

Better than I expected
I had a sign that said "familia" but, as an Italian, wanted to find one that said family in that language (rather than in Spanish). I've never seen one, but took a chance and did an online search. Lo and behold, I found this sign. It was hard to tell, by the picture, whether or not it was mounted on wood, or marble, etc. I didn't want it mounted on anything; I just wanted the word. When I received this, I was so pleased! It is the perfect size, well-made, and fits perfectly with my photo wall. I recommend this without reservation.

exactly what i was looking for
I have a wall full of family photos going back 90 years. I had a metal FAMILY sign that looked great, but I am symmetrical person and needed another word to balance the wall. I had hoped to find an Irish word for family, but no luck. Our tree also conatins many Italians so when I saw this sign I was too happy for words. It arrived on time, it was the size I expected it to be and it looks great on the wall. It is metal and wasn't packed to prevent bending. Not much, but enough that it was noticable on the wall. A bit of manual manipulation and all is well. Also there are no hangars. Two strategically placed nails at the top of the F and inside the G were all it needed to hang. I then ran a black sharpie over the nail heads to camoflage. I would recommend this product.

Perfect in every way!
I loved this so much ! It is the perfect size and I knew it was flat and that is exactly what I wanted. It looks beautiful on my wall! The shipping was very quick and it arrived in perfect condition. Excellent customer service.
