Fully satisfied with the heat
This thing puts out heat. We had to back up actually which is what you want. Fully satisfied with the heat. They said the paint wasn’t cured until you heat it up. Well the front started chipping paint. Also the dial that turns up the heat falls off as it’s not secured on there. Again, these are small things I would prefer to not be issues but the heat works well and pellets are like $5 for a 40 lb bag that last for 3-4 hours. We were also looking for casters that lock so we don’t have pick this heavy thing up and move them to no avail.

Difficult set up
From what I can tell this could be a great product. I really wanted to like it because good patio heaters are hard to find. Unfortunately the problem is with the set up and the instructions. The instructions that come with the heater are virtually useless. They do direct you to a video which only contains video with no verbal instructions. I’m usually pretty good with assembling products like this but I had 2 items that were not in the video and I have no idea what they are for. Also I think the larger version is slightly different than the one in the video maybe. The biggest problem by far is the assembly of the flexible heat stack. In the video the guy snaps it in place with his fingers effortlessly. I had two grown men using all our strength and couldn’t get it to pop in place. In the end we ended up bending the stack and it is all but useless. Perhaps if there was some warning about the difficulty assembling the stack I would have paid to have someone else do it. I only give it two stars because I tried it with a modified set up and it does put out some decent heat compared to other patio heaters I have had. The modified set I have won’t last long though. I really wanted to like this profit more for the almost a thousand dollars I spent on it.

Cool design but could use a better pellet control.
It’s a very cool concept. Tricky to put together but once it’s up, it’s cool. Draw backs are it goes through a lot of pellets. Like three times what my indoor house stove goes through in the same time at least and there isn’t a realistic way to ‘turn it down’. If you slow the pellets, the gravity feed clogs and it smokes bad or it just goes out, or both. If you let it just go, it does get toasty around it and radiates more heat that a propane tower heater for sure, but is more costly. It’s a nice dry heat alternative though that doesn’t need electric and you can put it under a shelter not vented - I have it under a very large and tall gazebo like deal.

Best Outdoor Heater
I have tried so many heaters at all price ranges and always ended up disappointed. This heater is incredible! Quality is amazing, the fire is mesmerizing and most of all the heat this puts out is just hard to believe. Other note, very easy to clean. I purchased the wood pellets from ACE Hardware. I have also been surprised how long a bag of pellets last. Since ordering from Amazon I have gone to this company’s website for additional accessories. The customer service from the company is as wonderful as it’s product. Yes, I thought this was pricey for a heater, all I can say to that is, its worth every dollar.

Excellent Product
Besides being very well built & easy to put together this thing gives off a tremendous amount of heat. It’s not only great for staying warm but it’s also visually stimulating to watch the seemingly never ending source of heat that this heater puts out. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to staying warm. Thank you.

Poor heat output and meltdown mode
Looks nice when burning, heat output is poor, unless you are in meltdown mode, what is meltdown mode you ask, had an issue, which appeared to be a slug of pellets dropping into the combustion chamber, at first it appeared to go out, so went back to the patio didn't really pay attention and the next thing you know this thing is huffing and puffing, the box and stack started to glow red and for the first time in over 20 uses this thing was putting out some serious heat, the stack started to lean and flames were coming out the top, it appeared that it had begun to gasify the pellets and that the burn chamber had moved to the stack. Warning: If this happens to you you might want to open the air intake to bring the burn chamber back down into the box, you may need to crack open the door. Again had high hopes but with the poor heat output, I couldn't recommend it.

Great quality and performance
Awesome performance, great quality, was simple to put together. Next to a traditional propane patio heater there’s no comparison. I also like that you still get to watch a fire without dealing with the smoke/work of a traditional fire pit
