Littlest Pet Shop

My granddaughter is on the Autism Spectrum and is developmentally delayed. She loves her LPS items. Since she has difficulty with reading I am thinking that she is really going to enjoy the comic book type delivery of the stories. I know that as children my sisters and I read comics all the time and they really helped us to become better readers. I'm hoping that will work in this instance too. But I can't report on that as I bought this as part of her Christmas present. I can say that the paper is quality and so is the cover. This is not a comic, but a book. Pictures are not full color though. Very limited in color schemes. Old comics were better in that department. But the book is built to last and withstand lots of readings. All in all I'm pleased.

Everything shipped very quickly. The story is kind of messy, but I enjoyed it very much. Over all, the story gets a 9.5/10 from me! I give the pictures a 8.5/10 is because the art style seems to change throughout the book. The first issue of a series is always a little different looking, but it doesn't usually change through issues (and sometimes pages). I can't really say it's good or bad art wise so I won't make a complaint about it. The cover is amazing, but something about it seems off (no big deal). I am kind of sad that it's this small. I compared it to a few My Little Pony comics (from the same publisher), and from the corners I can see it's shorter by about 3 inches. It is hardcover, so it could have something to do with that. It is a must read for Littlest Pet Shop fans!

Great graphic novel for girls! My daughter is 7 and it does have big words in it so I have to read it to her. She loves it though and it has become her favorite bedtime book. I would say its about a 9yr and up reading level.

Got it on the kindle and it was very hard to read, very small print.
