In all fairness my mom wanted the book to give to her French Dr as she lives in rural France , her Dr is desperate to learn more English as it will help her in the future , it's just a gift to someone who helps my elderly mom maintain her health .

it translates some very usefull phrases and medical terms into French but also has a section at the back that the French person can give you directions about treatment or ask further questions..... a very usefull piece of kit especially if someone travelling has a medical condition.

Much smaller in size than I had expected, but a useful book to carry with you to the doctor in your back pocket or handbag.

As a first aider who sometimes works in France this is an essential addition to my kit. It's also pocket-sized and cleverly laid out for accessing the right information. Brilliant !

An excellent reference book which covers a wide range of topics. Hopefully it will never be needed but when we go to France we will always take it with us just in case.

I can recommend this book to anyone who is visiting France and feels the need of some basic phrases to use in encountering doctors, dentists and chemists. I was looking for a straightforward medical dictionary translating more complex words and conditions, which this is not. Unfortunately I suspect that what we need costs very much more and I don't regret this purchase.
