SAFARI FAUX FUR BLANKET Queen - Dark brown - FUR-700Q

I bought the black mink version of this in September of 2013, Two and a half years later, it still looks fantastic. This blanket is enormous and silky soft. I'm one of those terrible people who ignore the washing instructions, rather than gentle cycle, it's always in with the permanent press. I'm even so brazen as to ignore the "tumble dry low" and dry it at medium or high temp. Who has the patience for that?Despite my careless disregard for the blanket's well-being,, it's held up like a champ. It looks great thrown over the couch or on the bed and remains the go-to blanket for snuggling up in the dark of winter.I bought another brand of faux fur blanket at the same time and it was a hot mess. It constantly left little blue fuzz everywhere, the sheets looked like there was a giant blue dog hiding somewhere. It was also a magnet for human and animal hair because the fibers are a little more coarse. This blanket on the other hand has been a dream in terms of easy to clean and hassle free, The quality is much higher than I had any right to expect for the price.

I have looked for weeks for a blanket that was truly like satin. I just sent back 2 that I had ordered that were not what I was looking for. This blanket is just like velvet on both sides. It is AWESOME and a keeper!!!!! Should I need another blanket I will order these. I may give them as Christmas gifts. Now, I have not washed it yet so I don't know about the shedding. I know it did not smell like some said and it is not light weight but not heavy, just right!!!! I am just using it as a blanket on satin comforter. This is a good size. I have a queen size bed, and it is definaley long enough, but maybe by itself it could be a bit wider, like a foot or so. But, becuase of the feel and the quality I would not return this blanket. As I know I will NEVER find another like it, as I have searched and searched. You won't regret the purchase of this blanket. It is as soft and velvety as it could possibly be! AWESOME BLANKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will get more colors too, like to have them all. You will NEVER find one like this for this price. It looks like it would oh so much more!!!! Fabulous!!!!!!

Cheap material, had to wash 2x to get the blanket to stop shedding and it still smells like chemicals and plastic. Thought I'd give it a shot on the couch for a week anyway. It is already matting and falling apart and I have bearly used it. Yes I washed it on cold, delicate and tumbled dried on low and I use chemical free detergent. Dont waste your $.

I bought this blanket for my cats actually. It was their Christmas present. No, I'm not a crazy cat lady, but they sleep on my bed with me and their hair gets everywhere. I figured this way the hair would stay on this blanket and they would be very cozy. They love it and so do I. For a queen size it is ok. Wish it was just a little bigger so it hung down the sides of the bed a bit more. It is easy to wash and seems durable. I've washed it about 5 times already since receiving it and it is holding up pretty well. I love the chocolate brown color. Although it is a thinner blanket I'm not cold in these winter months. All in all we are all very happy with this purchase. I've received quite a lot of compliments about the blanket also.

I bought the queen size to use as throws, usual throws are just too small. These are perfect, warm but not bulky. They do shed and like the other reviews stated; they need to be washed right away. No dry cleaners, they can be but in the machine. They are beautiful, soft, cozy and a great price! I bought two ;)

The blanket is big and nice and furry-BUT not thick, I use it on top of my other blankets on my bed, and it will be a nice blanket for the summer time.

I received this wonderful blanket for my birthday in December. It is AMAZINGLY soft on both sides. I didn't have much of a problem at all with shedding like others have stated. I live in the pacific NW so it's cold here 7 months out of the year and I tend to take it from room to room in my house. It feels a lot like real fur! I was afraid to wash it in that it wouldn't be as soft, or the stitching would start to come out but it came out like it was still brand new!! Hardly anything in the lint holder in the dryer either!! It is my favorite blanket of all time! Elegant enough to drape over nice furniture in a formal room, cozy enough to fold up on the end of my king sized bed using the reverse side as my bedspread is also leopard. I end up reaching for it every night because it's so very very soft. My pets love it too! Great for summer as it is light weight. That is the ONLY reason I gave it four stars instead of five. It's not a blanket that keeps you toasty warm. I have blankets that do keep me toasty, but I always reach for this one because it's just so soft and comforting. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Would also make a great gift!

I bought the leopard one. I Just threw it in the dryer the first day I got it to get all the little extra fuzzies off and I loved it's softness from day 1 and I've owned it for about 5 months now and I've washed it quite a few times and it's still soft like day 1 I LOVE this blanket. It's the perfect cuddle blanket to keep you warm. And it's perfect to use as a regular comforter-like blanket if it's hot and you don't want to use a regular thick comforter. Definitely recommend and something I'd buy again. I'd love to actually buy the white one but I'm scared of the dirt.
