I never do reviews, but that this one was asked of for a review made me chuckle so here we are.My wife and I have long been fans of Gun Oil, both vaginally and anally. It worked, well, but is being discontinued so our every few month purchase of the 32 oz pump is no longer possible.While we are reluctant to change (skin sensitivities), we are so happy we were forced to take a look at the possibilities. Are major complaint about "Gun Oil" was the staining. Also as we enjoy anal sex in addition to our vaginal intercourse there were times in the heat of the moment when either of us may not have gotten the Gun Oil dispersed well enough and this resulted in a drier spot that could cause discomfort or if not lubed would cause discomfort in the course of the act so we would have to stop and reapply, and while no sex act should be rushed there are the moments when passions get the better of you and this would apply the brakes fast and slow the action. So far, due to the viscosity of Boy Butter, we are able to apply and it stay where you left it until easily washed a way with water, this was not the case with gun oil.We are still very new, but I believe we have found our new go to product.So if you posses a vagina who wants the penetrative loving, but unable to self produce the lubricant desired and need an extra hand in the pursuit of what I hope are multiple orgasms, this product is for you. If you possess an anus that you would like to make sure is silky smooth when passing an object into it this is the product for you. My boyfriend and I use this for anal sex. It's basically magical. I've tried a few other lubes over the years, and nothing else comes close to the silky lubrication provided by Boy Butter. We went from having sex about once a week to daily, in large part because the lube reduces the "barrier to entry" so much. It lasts way longer than the water-based Lube Life that I used previously, and is less slippery, so there's more sensation going on.Fantastic fantastic fantastic, worth every penny, I will buy again.

As someone who has an incredibly sensitive, ugh, nether regions? This is one of the few lubes that doesn't cause me issues. It is, as some other commenters have said, essentially vegetable shortening. It is not, however, vaseline. Two different things.As a personal lube it works pretty well. It doesn't irritate me like some water based lubes do and, even though it is an oil base, it is relatively easy to clean up with soap. It has a taste, but if you've ever tasted Crisco or vegetable oil before you'll be familiar with that slightly green vegetabl-y flavor. It wouldn't advise, ugh, eating(?) things with this lube, mainly because partially hydrogenated oils aren't healthy.You do need to be careful with this lube as it will degrade latex or polyisoprene condoms, which leaves either lambskin or polyurethane. It will not, however, degrade silicone or glass toys (which are really the only type of toys you should be using).This 2 ounce container is super small and won't last you a long time. I advise getting this as a test to see if this is the right lube for you before investing in a larger version. The cap stays on pretty well, and getting the lube out of the container is a breeze.

This product may be natural and organic, but it doesn't work well. It comes out like toothpaste, takes forever to liquify and provides mediocre lubrication that becomes sticky. There is NO comparison with Albolene or even ID Glide - not even close. Boy Butter never becomes slick and slippery like other lubricants. I'm not sure why this got good reviews, but I suspect people who want a natural product are willing to settle for a mediocre lube. Threw it in the trash. I was pretty disappointed in this product. I purchased it after a website listed it as the best personal lubricant. I strongly disagree with that website after using it.The consistency is rather thick so it takes some work just to get it spread around. (Think of trying to spread cold butter on bread)It seems to wear off pretty quickly requiring the use of additional lube.Worst of all it just isn’t very lubricating. It’s too creamy to properly work.

This stuff works! It feels thick, smooth and creamy, and gets the job done. The natural coconut oil sooths and protects the skin. It's much better for you than synthetic chemical lubes. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to ditch the toxic chemicals in more widely known commercial lubes.Things to note:-oil based lubes destroy latex. NOT condom friendly. If using vaginally, make sure you are using a different contraceptive, and trust the person you are with as condoms won't be an option.-it washes off very easily, so sex in water won't be an good option-apply generously and reapply when needed. With standard sex, anal or vaginal, or when using a premium silicone based toy, one application should be enough to get you through with comfort and health

The best lube for skin to skin (only suitable for high quality silicone toys, try a test spot first) that I've tried yet, including far more expensive silicone lube. It starts off very thick, but after a minute or two of "working" it, it turns into a very nice long lasting glide. I didn't believe it when I read it on the bottle, but somehow it washes off with just water.

Product looks old and had oil all over gross all over and the container was gross to the touch.
