Must have for climbers
The best way to train for climbing is to be able to climb. I've spent more time than I like to admit injured, and my climbing has suffered for it, and so too my enjoyment of the sport and the outdoors. This book is exactly what I needed. Structured, easy to follow, thorough, with great pictures and lots of references, this book will get you back on the wall after an injury. And more importantly, it will keep you climbing injury free. An absolute must have for any climber, and a steal for the price

this book helped me understand my own injury
The author is very knowledgeable and laid out potential injuries well enough to enable to me self-diagnose -- though of course one should seek professional help for sports injuries.Detailed explanations, good rehabbing exercises. I've been climbing on-and-off for years, in gyms and outdoors, and will recommend this book to my fellow climbers.

A great guide for someone with little experience in climbing injuries
Super informative and helpful to have a consolidated text for me to use when recovering from injuries (I’ve had issues with pulleys and lumbricals recently), and also a good resource to have for injury prevention as well. The exercises are very clearly documented and super easy to follow/learn.

learned a lot
I needed an overview of sports injuries. I'm not a climber, and this book is aimed at climbers, but I didn't find that got in my way at all. I found out about healing and pressure points and the latest on fascia (the new organ of the body, just discovered.. how about that?)I'm a bit dismayed by the fact that every single review here is 5 stars. Thing is, that trips Amazon's review bot into thinking reviews must be all by the author's friends and according to Amazon-author lore (which I collect obsessively, being an author) review opinions are downgraded a bit because of it. Well, I don't know the author, the book was loaned to me by a climber friend, the book deserves 5 stars and that's what I'm giving it.

Great format
This book has been so useful for me. Any time I feel a tweak I open it up. It's easy-to-follow format helps me to diagnose what's going on, and give my best shot at fixing it (and avoiding the same situation in the future). I appreciate the balance between technical and layman's terms, and it provides enough information to understand connections between different parts of the body and how they effect each other.
