Only issue I had was in cutting the sheets to size. I had to precut the sheets to line draw bottoms, when removing the backing paper the overall dimension of the felt changes, it shrinks up to maybe 1/8 inch, so try a test first, if needed cut oversize. It would be better if you can stick it down and then trim to size.

I use this cut into the shapes I need for a variety of different purposes, such as lining the bottom of trays and such that I want to place on a wood surface without scratching, like my pewter tray for dumping my pocket contents at the end of the day (I know there are specific products for that - I happen to lie my tray). My head board has a cubby hole which I lined in this so that the sound of placing something in there at night would be muffled. Anywhere there is a need for scratch protection, this is a handy thing to have.

The reviews that say the backing is too sticky are accurate. Pulling off the backing stretches the fabric unless you do it quickly, like ripping off a band-aid. Once it's off, the sticky stuff has a lot of tack, so you don't want it to touch until you're ready to leave it. That being said, with a little practice the results get better, there seems to be an art to it. Once it's in, it looks good.

This felt has been the best I have found for re-felting the base of antique fans. I had no trouble pre-cutting out a circular shape using a pair of scissors. The adhesive is VERY sticky, so you have to be careful when handing it after peeling the backing. I used a metal pick to move it because my fingers kept sticking. I didn't have any trouble with it stretching, but it flexes just enough to keep wrinkles out around the curves. Overall great for this purpose.

Works as intended

Lined a jewelry box for my wife with a single sheet. Remove lining carefully and patiently after cutting to the needed shape and you won't have any stretching problems. I had a little stretching in one spot but repaired it easily with a little compression while sticking it to the surface. Good stuff.

This is a good product. It arrived on time and worked fine for what I needed. One caution-when applying be careful not to pull on it. I did and the felt stretched (as felt would) which then left wrinkles. Again for what I needed it didn't matter and did the job!!

This product appears okay but it is quite thin material compared to what I have used: peeling off the back can be a hassle: since it is quite thin once the backing is removed handling and setting it can be arduous. While faster delivery, a bit less expensive, I yet prefer a competitive make.
