I ordered this teapot, mugs and a few other pieces wanting to begin a Christmas tea setting collection. It was a great choice the design is fun and beautiful. I trust my older grand children 6,7 and 9 to handle these pieces and i bought it to collect with my 6 year old grandaughter. We are very excited to use it and hist a first anual Christmas tea for family. I have not been a follower of Spode and hope there will be annual item additions because I have searched their site as well and there are no coordinating teacups and saucers available in this pattern. So I hope to see them added in the seasons to come. While I do recommend this pattern I will be careful in ordering smaller items featuring the Christmas tree print. I ordered the dip bowl with matching spreader to use for jam and/or candies at the table and the tree pattern has a squished (shortened and fatter) look than the nice tree design of the larger pieces. This shrunken pattern has an odd look to me and I don't care for it. I would rather they avoided the tree decal all together when this happens and simply accent these pieces to coordinate in a series. I have never really been a Christmas tree Spode fan but I do love the peppermint series and it has me seeing the other Christmas series differently looking for mix and match pieces. All said, I am writing this review also to praise amazon.com. My order arrived with a teapot that had small imperfections and the mugs had a broken one in the box. Also another part of order was the wrong color of item. I reported these complaints and requested return and replacement. It was so easy - I had the option for free pick up or dropping the repackaged items to a UPS store. I printed my own return label and am set to drop the items for return. I reported the damage three days ago and yesterday (two days after report and before returning damaged items) my replacements arrived. THANK YOU Amazon.com. That is something special. I had no idea it would be so quick - I thought it would be a big deal waiting for them to receive and process the return delaying my enjoyment and excitement of my new teapot and mugs. I was so happy to them arrive again so quickly.

I had a Spode Christmas teapot for 25 years and enjoyed bringing it out for the holidays. This pot is even nicer than the one I had. The graphics are crisp and the pot itself is better made. I look forward to using it next December.

The teapot was prettier than expected. The pour spout was great and didn't make a mess. Really delightful teapot.

Absolutely loved this Christmas pot and the mugs. Made the holidays so much more fun and festive. Good quality and so well wrapped I have lost of bubble wrap to store for later.
