I have been trying to find a way to keep plants in the house that the cats can’t get to. These are a perfect option. They are easy to affix to the wall. I think I had all 6 planted and hung within 30 minutes of opening the box.Watering has proved interesting as the opening at the top is small for clumsy watering skills. I tried taking each bulb down and filling at the sink, but some water inevitably sneaks out on the walk back to the living room.As for gifting - the planters came in a plain brown box. So, in order for your recipient to know what you got them, they’ll need to open the box and unleash the styrofoam inside. It’s a bit messy is what I’m saying. Likewise, I would not recommend using for stuffing a piñata.

The shipping was kind of long process it might be cuz I ordered on xmas, but I love them, they came very protected in a large box one next to the other one, not on top, the glass is thick enough for that type of wall decoration!

I purchased these twice. The first set was pristine and I loved them. Unfortunately the second set wasn’t good. Two of the bulbs were broken when I opened the package. Also after I hammered the holders in, I hung the bulbs and one fell off the wall and broke! So I basically paid $24 for one container 😢Update: I’ve had these hanging up for 4 months now and in that time 2 of them have fallen off the wall and shattered. Not only that, but one of the falling pieces hit and broke another piece. So now I have 2 left and a bunch of holes in the wall where the others used to be. The hangers are TERRIBLE and they just fall out of the wall.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I LOVE these!!! They are a good size and are capable of holding a good amount of water! I ended up ditching their system for hanging (they have 4 tiny super sharp nails that you are supposed to nail into a wall... but I honestly thing it wouldn’t be near as sturdy... I agree with other reviewers and think if you do need to do this option to just get one big nail)Anyways! I ended up using command hooks and attached these to my filing cabinet! Works like a charm!

When I got these and when I unwrapped them they were un-believable thin glass,I tried one and when I went to clean it it broke in my hands; so be careful, I did buy some others,same wall type, only round and longer and at least 3 times as thick , these round ones went back to amazon ,when I bought these there were no reviews, now I will pay attention to reviews 🙈

Purchased to give as gift. I was disappointed with the poor packaging... Flimsy Styrofoam that was broken/hooks wrapped individually in grease stained looking brown crumpled bits of paper/vases loosely housed without bubble wrap or any form of wrap/strange black wrapping paper around Styrofoam that had sandy feeling residue. The entire package was weird! Fortunately the 6 vases weren't broken (unlike some of poor customer reviews). I will repackage for presentation since I'm giving as gift. The hooks which hold each vase need to be hammered into wall (leaving about 5 small prong holes in your wall)... So I will also include some 3M adhesive hooks in the event gift recipient doesn't want holes in wall.Regardless of poor quality packaging, the vases are a unique item that are quite special... And definitely cheap enough. The glass is quite thin and fragile... But not a deal breaker. Overall... I'm OK with with my purchase. But there are other vendor's swelling same/similar item that might have better packaging.It's just one of the those items that nobody has...willingness make a nice gift. Will give update after they are hung on wall.

The glass will be compared to the sizes of a sofa. It comes with the nails holder. The glass is very thin. Be careful using stones in them for it might break. I love the idea of planting lives plants in the glass while it hangs on the walls. It's a very eyes catching. Recommended if you like plants.Updated: It's so thin. One of it cracked and broken but lucky I have hot glue. This glasses are much too thin. Extremely fragile! Get a cylinder shapes which will have more room for long ivy.

Beautiful and easy to put up. They are really thin and delicate so definitely do not drop one. I use them to make babies from clippings and even some flowers for special occasions.

Perfect size to hang on the wall!I had a big empty wall and wanted to decorate with some plants. These are affordable and way cheaper than other sellers. They arrived much sooner than I expected! Loving it

These look great and are simple and elegant. That said, they’re very fragile made of thin delicate glass. The hooks are sturdy enough but require you to pound 4 really tiny nails into the wall, which makes them hold well but it’s hard to hit all 4 evenly with a hammer to get them in properly. Pounding 4 nails at once seems to absorb the force rather than transfer the energy into the nail. They also don’t have nail heads so I’m not sure how I’ll ever get these off the wall without damaging the hooks. One globe fell off the wall (my mistake) and shattered into a million pieces, I’m hoping I got all the shards.

Love the look of these. They are elegant and beautiful. Things to keep in mind; they are small - both the openings and the amount you can fill before overflow, they are fragile - the glass is delicate, one of mine shattered trying to fill it with succulent soil.If you are prepared for those two points, these are lovely, lovely showcase pots.

The pictures on Amazon are deceiving. The glass is so light and brittle if you look at it the wrong way you risk cracking it.I would not recommend this to hang but perhaps to place on a shelf.
