In between day and night it will blink on and off until the light is right and the sensor either turns the light on or off. Lots of blinking.

I just had an electrician install the light. It is extremely bright. I like it, but worry about it being almost all plastic. I live in southeast New Mexico and it will get the morning sun and don't know how long it will last.
