Great price but…
I bought this MacBook Pro about 1 year ago, and it works great so far and arrived clean and scratch free. However, there is a very strong BO-like odor that I thought would diminish with time but unfortunately has not. What can this be?? I would still recommend buying this as it’s been sufficient.

Well...
When I got this I was super excited but upon open the package I was a little upset...the lid on the computer was loose and wanted to come off everytime I open it...it has be very frustrating and shouldn't be happening. The computer works great but I know I will have to fix before to long.

Would purchase again
I must admit I was a little nervous about purchasing a used laptop, especially for this price. I was pleasantly surprised upon its arrival. I received it early and it was in good condition and so far has worked extremely well. I am very pleased with my order. I would definitely purchase again.

Not working
First of all the item is a 2012 and i was not aware of the date of the item. A few minor scratches on the front but that is not the issues. OK issues lets jump in, first the apps below display ? mark symbols, and I did the software update and am still trying to figure out why the picture for "pages" Numbers and keynote" are all literally ? question mark symbols.Second it will not let me log into my iCloud account. I did check to try to see if maybe it was my password by looking into my written logs and its not that. It also wont let me select forgot password to create a new one. Next i tried to create a new one and it will prompt you to sign in with your apple id again (NO option to make a new one) so i am not sure how i am going to get around this issue.Thirdly and last is it has that "spinning wheel of death" issue which every MAC user hates, and it is a tad slow to move but given the year i didn't expect different. Also if your on a site which is Amazon and want to add to cart or see more relative items to what you are shopping it will not let you proceed. It will give you a row of spinning wheels of death (loading wheels tho) and it never loads. So you won't easily be shopping amazon. I hope i can return it and exchange for a new and different model.I also wanted to point out that this MACBOOK does NOT match what is in the photo of what i was supposed to receive, and yes I was disappointed. I had looked up the reviews online prior to my purchase and for that particular model number it said it was like a 4.5 star and people raved that despite age it was a fantastical well made MAC and much raved about by many users, (mainly techies too) so i had full faith despite age this would be it for me!AGAIN-it is NOT the product in the photo! I am disappointed and hope Amazon will help fix this issue.

Awesome Laptop
I never leave reviews. Never. I was really skeptical at first. I thought it was a scam to be honest. But I gave in thinking if it was Amazon would just refund my money back. I received that laptop and I was sooooo excited. I work from home and I have my own office and a whole set up. But working at the pool sure sounds nice sometimes. When I opened the packaged right away I put it on charged and turned it on. It turned on but the screen was just grey. Automatic heartbreak. I took a picture and sent it to Amazon. Amazon said give the seller 48 hours to reply. But of course I messed with it and the next day I finally was able to get it to “work” I put all my info and BAM I was in. However, it was running incredibly slow. I told my husband this is not right something is wrong with it. So I contacted Amazon again and they told me I have to wait another 48 hours I was like okaaaay. So I reached out to Apple support and and Apple support confirmed the problem and said the hard disk was no good or not in. I unscrewed it and confirmed it was in there. Found a $20 hard dish on Amazon and wanted to just fix it myself. Well. Amazon didn’t want to do anything for me and without telling me - every time I contacted Amazon it gives the seller another 48 hours to contact me. So now it’s been a week and a half. Finally received a response. They said they could replace it or do a refund. I didn’t want either I didn’t want to have to wait longer. But the seller offer two day shipping. I accepted. I received it. I love it. Amazon gave me a hard time. The seller was very understanding and just wanted me to be satisfied. I was a bit pushy because Amazon made me feel like I lost $200. Or just for me to return the item. I know they have protocol to follow but Amazon had me wait a week and a half for a resolution then just offer to return it was quit disappointing on Amazons behalf. I’d definitely repurchase from them. And to the Seller, thank you so much. I am very appreciative!
