Adore my art corner!
The media could not be loaded. This was such a beautiful gift from my husband. I have always loved painting but never really done much in my older life. I have enjoyed playing and learning new techniques. It is clean and crisp so looks very nice in my room. Very stylish.

121 PIECES of QUALITY ITEMS & MUST HAVE FOR BUDDING ARTISTS!
I spent hours looking for an art set with easel that was of quality grade pieces and was compact for space-and found all that and more in this set! Having never bought a a easel (besides 20 years ago when we bought a Playskool one for kids lol) before I finally settled on this particular set based on price and reviews, and I surprised my daughter this Christmas-so much so it was her favorite gift this year! She still has yet to use every medium in the set, but thus far has been ecstatic with the oil and water paint quality, and the adjustable easel her masterpieces are made on. She is very pleased with the brushes, palette, canvases and color choices and I cannot wait to order additional items not included (if there is any to be had lol) for her upcoming birthday from same brand.

Diverse Bundle!
This was an absolutely great bundle. It includes all you'll ever need to get started as a beginner artist! I am obsessed with the diverse capabilities of the art stand and purposely chose this one because you can use it on the ground or table. I love how compact it becomes when you want to store it and that there's a drawer that opens in the front, which not many of the stands have. It's honestly unbelievable how many additional items this bundle came with for such a low price. I'm impressed and beyond satisfied!!!

Better than expected. Not the worst but not the best.
I've recently taken Plein Air painting back up after a number of years. I had given my old basic trifold easel to my kids to use and so needed a replacement. I researched for a few weeks trying to figure out what I needed/wanted in a new easel and liked the mixed media and supplies this kit offered. And the price was right. My querying resulted in the purchase of this french style easel. After reading some of the reviews. I was a little concerned about quality of the easel being cheap and breaking easily and the fact people were stating they were missing pieces recieved. (I will address these things further)At first blush the kit is quite decent for just about anyone. It comes with just about everything you may need to start right out of the box. 3 canvas panels are each packaged behind the streched canvases separately and the canvases are all packaged together in one piece of plastic. So no marked up canveses straight off the bat. That's a plus for me. I haven't used these yet so I cannot confirm painting quality but they appear to be fairly decent. The plastic palate. Heavy duty quality and sturdy. The only issue I had was the seam of plastic in the thumb hole was a little annoying but with a little use of fine grain sand paper it smoothes it right out.Wood pallet is ok at best. Sturdy but not the most comfortable to hold for me. It's a little too straight on the crease of the arm but if you use it as a plein air style this isn't really important. However, it stains easily and is just particle board. I have an old solid wood pallet I prefer much more. (*update* put some water seal on the palate as s it no longer stains)Water color paper. Pretty generic. Nothing to write home about but not badPaints. Same as the water color paper. Not the worst but not the best quality either. BUT lots of color variations to choose from. So if you want to try out what medium you like best without spending an absolute fortune on paint, this is a great way to find your favorite type of paint media. Personally I like acrylic and water color and am only recently trying out oils again after a long long long long... Like 20 years long ok, time. So not going into debt to screw up with "practice paints" it's a great way to get into it.The brushes. They're about as cheap as I've seen but they're ok for kids or maybe a novice to get started. But not anyone that's going to be using them regularly to work, hone their craft, and certainly not professionally. I suggest getting some better quality ones after these wear out or aggravation has reached its maximum level.Pallet knives are fine. Now the easel. A key issue I've noticed is that it does not have directions. Honestly it was ridiculously easy to put together without them. But if you need them. There are videos on youtube. However, they should still be included. (my suggestion is to first flip it upside down and set up the legs first then flip to standing and THEN adjust to your height. I've watched some videos that just make everything seem awkward and it's really not.As for the basics. It's very light weight and very portable and has a surprisingly good amount of storage. Ok a great amount of storage. I like to be organized and this is great for that. I can keep my larger and not as often used stuff in the bottom (little trash bag, clips, rag, extra brushes, ect. ) and smaller and more often used supplies up top in the drawer. The drawer IS removable.Unfortunately my easel came to me with a screw for the center leg fallen out. And the access to secure it was directly under the drawer inside the bottom storage box. I didn't realize this wretched drawer was removable until AFTER fighting with that ONE screw for about 10 solid minutes that I just couldn't get my hand in the right way to secure it. So, in order to remove the drawer it has to be entirely inside the box and you can simply lift the end closest to the buckles and slide it out... Would've been helpful had I realized this BEFORE fighting with the screw but whatever. I won that battle in the end even did it without taking out the drawer. So ya know, directions would've been helpful for this. The wood quality isn't bad at all but it isn't the best. I can easily see why some have had issues with cracking and breaking. The trick it seems, to me at least, is to simply not over tighten anything. As soon as the part you're trying to adjust stops sliding, it's secure. Do not keep going and twisting the nuts or it WILL snap the wood. The legs, tray, height and angle, is all super adjustable from laying flat to a full 90*. That's great for working outside where the ground is often not exactly level. I can have one leg at one length and the others at different lengths to get my work space as level as possible. The fittings are brass and are pretty strong. No cracks, corrosion or any other issues. The springs inside the top legs used to angle the work space are rather stiff and VERY sqeaky. I suggest spraying with a little wd 40 before use.Straps. Shoulder strap is a nylon strap with some buckles that clip onto hooks by the handle. I didn't realize this particular easel came with the shoulder strap so that was a nice suprise as I was going to fabricate something anywayHandle is pleather and very thick and heavy duty. It's held on by two hinged brass anchors. One big gripe I've seen I agree with entirely. As for the 121 vs 118 piece set. This is a trick of advertising by the seller. There is in fact 118 pieces not 121. They are "getting" the extra 3 pieces by counting the wooden slots you can insert and use to separate your drawer storage. That's not an extra 3 pieces that's part of easel imo. One can choose if they want to use them but they are a part of the easel itself so the 121 piece advertising is malarkey. That said, on the box itself it does not advertise 121 it says 118.Pros:Lots includedEasy set upPortableLightweightGood amount of storageAdjustableOK quality supplies (minus the brushes)Decent wood quality as long as taken care ofCons:False advertising by the seller. 118 not 121 pieces. No directionsBrushes are terribleCan be damaged if not carefulOverallit's a decent and will do the job wherever you need it to. One may coat with some Thompsons water seal or treat the wood with a proper oil or polyurethane or something before taking it outside in order to protect it.The only thing I'd add would be a cup holder to hold my water to clean brushes.... Or to hold my beer. 😁

We got this for our 11 yr old for Christmas ...
We got this for our 11 yr old for Christmas, she has been doing a lot of drawing and really wanted painting supplies. It really does come with everything you need to get started. It took us adults a about 15 mins to get it all set up. A side note, it is kind of wobbly, so if you are putting it somewhere and leaving it up make sure it won't get bumped into. And if you move it, double check that it is solidly placed. My daughter moved it once and didn't...it all fell over. Since then we double check it when it gets moved and no problems.

Cumberdome
Seemed like a good deal as it came with canvases and paints. Was very difficult for me to set up. instructions not included. Had to get help to get it together. It is not easily taken down for travel to class or outdoor painting

Small French Easel
Mostly happy with product. However, you should know - after assembly and inspection of all parts, a strut that supports and strengthens the rear leg was hanging free from it's connection to a small right angled metal part screwed to the under side of the box. There was a small nut and bolt missing so I looked inside the shipping box and found them at the bottom. Not happy! Half an hour later I had corrected the skewed right angled metal part from 110 degrees to 90, refitted the screw with an extra washer I had, a split-spring type to prevent it undoing again. After this effort, it is as it should have been originally received. Yes I'm happy with your service, but the OS supplier needs a slap on the wrist for rushing the assembly and packing. Cheers KS, Sydney.
