SpringStar - Electric Trap with Capture pad

Totally works! I have one free to roam outside cat. We have lots of deer in the area, so unfortunately he picks up fleas in the yard. I wont use poisons in my home or on my sweet animal, so this trap is a good choice. I keep it under the couch in the family room...and have added one under my bed. This trap makes for a nice soft glowy night light....guests haven't questioned it....that way no one actually sees the trap and gets freaked out. At night, there is no other light in that room so I am pretty sure that if there is a flea in the room, it makes its journey to the trap at night. I keep our home almost flea free by weekly sprinkling Diatomaceous Earth on all the rugs every Sunday night....12 hours later, or first thing Monday mornings, my house is vacuumed thoroughly - if there were any fleas, they would be deceased 2 hours having coming in contact with the DE. This trap is my second line of defense...catching only new fleas brought into the house during the week. I change the papers every 3 months - but probably wouldn't have to more than once a year because we have hardly any fleas with this system of DE and this trap. Oh, and if I see my cat actually scratching and biting at fleas....I rub a tablespoon of DE powder into his coat and send him back outside for a couple of hours while the fleas fall off. 100% Food grade Diatomaceous Earth is edible for cats, dogs, and humans-just don't breath it.

This works like a charm, it collected ton of Fleas in my room, and totally kept them under control, i olny with i can find replacement sticky pads for it.

Bad flea infestation......using chemicals but figured the lights can't hurt. Sure enough, its catching them left and right. I'll be buying a few more.

These traps are great for flea control. Even when you use regular/monthly prescription flea medication on your indoor pets, fleas can still get in the house in the summertime. These traps keep them under control. My problem with them is that when the light bulb burns out, the trap itself also burns out. This seems to happen just after the warranty. It's very annoying because they're not cheap, but I keep buying them because of their usefulness.

This unit must've been on a shelf somewhere for an excessive amount of time. The protctive plastic on the bait excessively difficult to remove rendering it less effective for capturing fleas.

The design really does not allow for a good catch rate. Wouldn’t suggest this one.

THIS thing saved me. I can’t put into words how vital this product was in eradicating the fleas in my apartment. If you’re reading this wondering what product to choose, it’s this one right here.
