solid sound but it is not 7.1
The headset has solid sound, good bass and decent(not superb) highs and mids are a bit loud and lacking the RMS quality. Do not use this for an iphone people's voices will deafen you at lowest volume. This is to be used in games, not music, not movies! So I expect a bit better when coming to low volumn RMS highs such as cricket sounds, people rustling in the woods and so on. But, fair is fair! For what you pay for it works. It is not 7.1. Though I suppose there is some slight feeling of virtual 7.1 of a fire crackling "behind" you if you turn in the opposite direction the virtual feeling. To get even virtual 7.1 you must first own a sound card that supports virtual 7.1 headphone hook ups(in stereo) second, your game must also support it. and if it does not have a setting for "headphones' and also a separate setting for 7.1 sound for the chosen speaker device, (eg headphones, stereo desktop ect) it will not produce virtual surround at all, only stereo. this headset(like all headsets I have ever tried) puts most of its emphasis on bass, leaving out the RMS quality of detail, such as hearing a distant rabbit you are going to hunt from behind you.(in the case of those types of games). that said, IF you do have a sound card that supports virtual 7.1 headphones(not analogue 5.1/stereo headphones) you can use this to get better results than the cheaper ear plugs or Sony Walkman which are not that good at anything. I tested this on various games and on a Sound Blaster AE-5, no less! the 7.1 virtual is there, but even on that high end card(probably the highest end card in existence today of 2018) it is not spectacular. You, of course will not get the sound field you can get from a true 5.1 speaker system spaced out evenly throughout your sound room. you will save space and the filtering of outside noise is excellent with these ear padded headphones!the hook ups are great!you get a Y-hook up for using stereo PC sound card hook up, and mic together which is not possible with the standard three ring plug.the ear pads are soft and somewhat cool, though your ears will get hot after a time. no ear pain, so far and I've had these on for over 2 hours, that is pretty unusual for headphones most begin to hurt my ear dishes in about 15 minutes including those made by Creative Labs, Fata1ity for one! The ear fit is excellent and passive no effort on your part the cords release and contract according to your head height and the ear pieces fit around most ears and even the largest of ears feel no grip from the outter ring at all!the cords are generous and long. you can plug it into a finicky PC case(even one such as mine that requires rerouting from a top panel and forces the plug back a few inches) the slack of the cable is not an issue in these plenty of room and comfort with the cable.volume control(a MUST for ALL headphones) is very well designed. A kill switch for both mic and speakers, in case your sound card malfunctions and you start hearing super loud crackling.(this is an issue I've experienced far too many times with computers and TVs) the Volume control is a knob, not a stupid 'toggle" switch.like so many headphone "sets" I've used in the past. So you can fine tune the adjustment on-the-fly in games!the packaging is excellent, and like wearing a tie to your job interview goes into my first impression of any product! it is in a box and in a plastic dust bag the cables neatly tied up and all cards in a place within the box.box sturdy well designed no damage done shipped in plain brown box containing a very attractive and sleek retail box for this sleek and attractive retail headset of black and red trim.if you are in need of space saving or wanting a sound isolation to shut out the outside for games this is a good solid and fairly inexpensive headset!

Great headphones!
This was a gift for my son. He spends a lot of time online gaming. He really liked them. We liked that the glow several different colors. That was a pleasant surprise. But, what he really likes is the noise cancelling on the microphone, that way when I talk to him while he's playing it doesn't embarrass him like his other headphones did. They were a little bigger than expected, but we'd rather them be a little bigger than smaller. I love the band, he's broken so make plastic ones, and the metal makes them so much stronger!

GREAT sound at its price-point
I have a similar product at a similar price-point, does NOT compare in quality OR sound. This product has a very crisp sounding audio, and VERY GOOD surround sounds. Creates pro-level spacial awareness, keeping you in a competitive edge against headsets that cost hundreds of dollars. (I've had Astro A50) this is as close as you can get at this price with a corded headset!

Great for gaming AND business!
Comfort - simply put, one of the most comfortable headsets I've owned. As a remote employee with young kids, I have spent a LOT of time with these on. I've caught myself several times forgetting they were even on, which is a really good thing.Value for money - I was very skeptical at first, and spent a lot of time comparing my Onikuma M190Pro's against $100 sets. I've also got a $350 David Clarke headset for aviation, and I will tell you I barely notice a difference. This alone speaks volumes. Value for the money? 5 stars.Material Quality - one of the most important aspects of material quality is the part that you are constantly touching and feeling. The soft, yet durable and breathable materials for the ear cup don't disappoint. No cheap plastic rigid headband either. The steel beam coupled with the headband earn high marks in functionality and comfort.Overall I am VERY happy with this purchase. I looked at 'professional' headsets for the home office, but wanted something that could also perform when I get my game on. Conference calls and video presentations have significantly improved in quality, both for my own ears and for my audience. No more ambient kid noises while I'm trying to close a valuable business contract! Gaming-wise, I play a lot of League, PubG, and other team sports. My team has noticed a BIG difference in team Comm's with my new headset. I would highly recommend the M190Pro!

**updated does not work after a few months. ** Works as intended, inexpensive.
***2021 update. There seems to be mic/headset cross over on these headset after a few months. My kids teammates can here their in game sounds and youtube videos while on discord or teamspeak. We have 2 sets and both have the same issue in 3 desktops and 2 laptop s.Not recommended.Works well, a bit loose on the head/ear muffs. I think they are bit large. My daughters who play Valorant complained that the headset is too large (and I bought 2) and looks dorky. Told them they're not streaming, no one is looking. Until they make their own dough, I can only offer them inexpensive stuff. I've tried it too, and it's a bit large for me, I'm 5ft 11 and think these a a bit large. I use a Logitech G35 personally and that is a snug fit. Will I buy another one after these 2? I don't think so, but doesn't mean these are bad, they work good, sounds fine and are affordable. If you want good looking, get $50-$200 Logitech, Turtle beach or Razer. These work good, and if you break them because you lost in Valorant or War Zone, you won't feel bad.
