First off, this is not just for an Apple iPad or iPhone. I purchased this for a Nexus 7 (2012) and my Samsung Galaxy S4 and it works great for both and they both charge quickly. A lot of charger I've seen will have two ports that don't charge equally. One port will charge at 2 Amps while the other charges at 1 amp and it will be sold as a 3 amp charger. If they are not marked (and many are not), you could take longer to charge in you plug into the slower port.That is not a problem here!Both ports charge at 2.1 amps, which in my opinion is necessary for a decent charge on today's smart phones and tablets. I paired this with the FRiEQ® Hi-Speed Extra Long 6 Ft Nylon Braided Tangle-Free Charging/Sync Cable and my devices charge in almost half the time now. The charger feels solid and with the shiny finish looks good. The ports are also lighted which make it easy to use in the dark.There are two reasons I didn't give this five stars:1. The flip down prongs fit firm in all the outlets I have used. The only problem is that if you have to plug into an out of the way place, they may fold down while trying to plug in. I tried to use an outlet behind a bookcase and the prongs kept flipping down. Not a big deal on function but a hassle if you are trying to plug one-handed and have to go by touch.2. The charger sticks out about an inch and a half. Fortunately, the ports are on the bottom or top (depending on which way you plug it in), so the cords don't get in the way. But, if you are plugging it into an out of the way place (like behind a bookcase, couch or bed), you may have to pull those things away from the wall to make room for the plug. I ended up plugging in an extension cord behind my bookcase and plugged the charger into it so that the bookcase could stay closer to wall.Over all, I love the plug and would recommend it.

At first 7 months, I was in love with this charger, then things get worst. month 8, I get a blinking yellow light and it just didn't charge anything at all. I went back to see if this item have at least 1 year warranty, No, now I am not of luck. I am very disappointed on this product and I will never buy from this POWERGEN again. First I gave you 5 stars, now I gave you 1 stars for not having a 1 year warranty and your product is not reliable after all.

These are the best USB cables I have ever owned. They have great flexibility and feel very well made. Time will tell, but I absolutely love them so far.

Poorly made. All the strips that are supposed to zip together are different lengths. Returning it.

Compact charger with two ports. Unfortunately after infrequent use, one of the two ports has stopped working after about 2-3 months. As a result, I cannot recommend.Edit: PowerGen did painlessly provide a replacement for the failed unit. As such, I am revising my rating to 5 stars. If this unit fails, I will update my review.

Wonderful product! I wish there was a version longer than two feet, but I haven't had much of an issue with just zipping up two of them in a row over the cables. This does a wonderful job of making cable management look less clunky while being very easy to move and adjust as needed.
