DHC Olive Concentrated Cleansing Oil, 5 Ounces, Pack of 1

I have used DHC Olive Cleanser for years with excellent results. It removes makeup without the need for special makeup removing cleansers. It has no scent. It feels soft and moisturizing on my face. It leaves my skin feeling clean, not oily, not dry. Sometimes I also use it as a body cleanser as well. I love it.

I am allergic to just about everything. It has been a struggle for years. I have dermatitis and rosacea. I was using the trade joe's tea tree oil bar soap for my entire body including my face. Go figure, that I wasn't allergic too. However about 6 months ago they discontinued it. I tried 5 different soaps for my face and this was the only one i had no reaction to. It is a little bit odd to get used to. There are no suds and you put it on dry. My skin is amazing. No issues. It is glowing. I have only been using it for a week but i am in love thus far. I have not been using my serum since i have been using this soap either. It is much more moisturizing. I am sure it will be different come winter, as it gets hot and seamy this time of year. Now all I have to do is a find a body soap i can use now.

I am from a Sicilian family , and my grandmother told me years ago, both women and men used olive oil on their skin, including on their faces. After looking at some old family pictures from the 1940’s 1950’s, I noticed my ancestors had beautiful skin. I have seen these pictures before, however this time, I am 62, and I took notice right away, how my great aunts, aunts, grandma etc., Had very pretty skin. So, i decided to try this DHC concentrated Olive oil Cleanser, and I add an equal amount of my , The Ordinary cleanser , to the olive oil cleanser to cleanse my face. My face feels so smooth and clean. I also started using The DHC Olive Virgin oil moisturizer at night only. My skin looks so smooth and healthy. I actually was carded at the goodwill resale shop, when I asked for a senior discount. The nice woman employee told me she thought I was 45. My 69 year old brother told me recently he has been using store bought, authentic, extra virgin olive oil used for cooking, for over 10 years now. His skin looks very good. Now, for my brother’s Birthday, I will purchase this DHC olive oil cleanser. When I was in my teens through 35 years old, in the 70’s & 80’s, the dermatologists always advised their patients not to use oil on their skin, especially their acne patients like me. So, I never used any kind of oil on my face until I looked at pictures of my ancestors, & recalling being told they used Olive oil on their skin. Now, I use this DHC concentrated Olive Oil cleanser, plus the DHC Extra Virgin Olive oil moisturizer, and I love these products. I wish my skin was this pretty when I was younger..

When I wash my face, it feels clean and my skin is not dry.

I do a two step face washing at night. I use this oil and my hands to wash off all my makeup. THEN I go in with my gentle skin cleanser and face brush to do 2nd wash. I love this oil and think it adds something to my night routine.

I’ve been using this product for several years and have now turned my mom, grandmother, and cousin into customers. This product cleans well and doesn’t leave your face feeling tight/dry. The best!
