GREAT FLAVOR AND TEXTURE
Next to homemade, this product is hard to beat. The flavor, texture and aroma is consistent with a high-quality coconut cream.⦁ It is suitable for vegan⦁ There are no preservatives, though it does have a commonly used emulsifier to keep it from separating and give it a luxuriously creamy texture.⦁ Someone asked if it is certified organic. The label does not say that it is. It does say, "Product of Thailand".⦁ Someone asked if it curdles when cooked with acids? No, it does not separate like dairy cream and does not curdle when cooked with acids. I make a Thai Chicken Soup which includes plenty of lime juice. Everything simmers together and a beautifully smooth and delicious soup emerges.⦁ With all that said, the product ingredients actually list: "Coconut Cream 99.95%, Polysorbate 60". This added emulsifier has been deemed perfectly safe by the FDA, EFSA, and the JECFA and is found in much larger concentrations in lots of other foods, but it should really be described correctly in the listing.Just an honest, hopefully helpful review of a product I really like.

Works well for yogurt making in November 2024.
What can I say if this works really well for yogurt making worked better than several other brands that I tried. At least the batch I got worked super well with yogurt making.

Not thick and contains Polysorbate 60 which is not on any of the photos. Don't buy this.
This product is watery and not thick as described. It also has deceptive package photos on Amazon as the label on the actual can has Polysorbate 60, which is NOT on any of the photos. Also, not refundable.

I love this so much
I stay as close to an AIP diet as possible. AIP stands for auto immune protocol. This can of coconut cream has no gar gum in it which basically gives me a gut ache. I make this coconut cream into coconut milk by blending one can of coconut cream to three to four cans of water for my protein drinks. So so so good and really inexpensive.

Not for me!
I so wanted to love this Coconut Cream but the flavor profile and smell threw me for a loop. It really tasted like coconut a lot but there was an accompanying smell and taste that was quite unappealing. However, it whips up like a dream and is fluffier than most coconut creams or milks. Maybe it is because the water is mixed in the creams while if using coconut milk, you can drain most of the water. Not all water is created equal, even if sterilized/distilled from a canning plant. Personally, I would rather have less whipped cream with a better flavor. If you love coconut flavor with a very fatty flavor and a tinny taste from the can, this is for you. But for me, I have found other coconut creams and coconut milks that taste superb in comparison. And if they don't whip up as well, I use a stabilized method with unflavored Gelatin to thicken the final product or I use Tapioca Starch for thickening. I have also found that one can make their own coconut cream or milk at home, so I can use my own distilled water and glass jars, thus eliminating the canning method. Good luck in your quest!
