Excellent replacement brake pads
These pads work great, my bike stops again like it did when new 46 years ago. A ‘76 Schwinn Superior.

Kool Stop is the best
I use some variant of Kool Stop on most of my bikes. They work and look good at a reasonable price point. Besides, who else still makes decent (or any) replacement pad inserts for some of the vintage hardware out there? Currently I use several Weinmann variants as well as Modolo and Campy Delta. Can't be beat.

Best Brake Pad , Super Easy Install !!
They are made of the very best brake pad material. The shape is the wonderful Weinmann X shape from the 1970s. They are a very easy replacement for the millions of Weinmann or DiaCompe brake pads still being used out there. They Are SUPER!!! Thank You!!! They were packed perfectly and arrived very quickly. I give them a rating of AAAAA+++++

You get 16 pads!!!! 4 packs of 4!
So to clarify what you are going to get here - I had expected a pack of four brake pads to fit my road bike. I got four SETS of four pads, so 16 pads total. I’ll be amazed if I ever use these up in this lifetime. The pads appear to be very high quality and were a perfect fit to replace the old rock hard pads in my Weinmann side pull brakes on the old vintage road bike I am working on.Installation is not for the faint of heart. You need a bench vise. You need some stout pliers. You need to put your metal shoe with old pad facing up, into your vise. And yank on it with pliers using sheer force of will and commitment to get those old crusty pads out. Then bend out one of the narrow tabs so that it is parallel with the back plate.Start sliding in a new pad, with arrow going in first.Use vise to carefully press slide the pad into place.Bend the end tab back in, and vise it in to its original place.Repeat for the other three pads!Mount back onto your brakes with arrow facing forward (I guess).Time will tell on longevity but hey I have a lot of extra sets of pads to go through if needed.
