I got to put this to good use today because it’s been pouring down rain all day. I placed it right in front of my door and it wiped my shoes dry from all the rain. I even walked outside barefoot and came back in to wipe my bare feet and it worked perfectly! Would definitely recommend for indoor use.Would definitely recommend reading the directions because it tells you to wash it first with no detergent. It will shed if you don’t do this first.

I purchased the Delxo 24 x 36 Inch Magic Doormat Absorbs Mud Doormat No Odor Durable Anti-Slip Rubber Back Low-Profile Entrance Door Mat Large Cotton Shoe Scraper Pet Mat Machine Washable (Beige) to put at the back door where my little dogs go in and out. It is a perfect size fitting the entire width of the door. Great neutral color and does a great job of drying the dogs feet when they step in from the damp grass. Another plus is that it is also washable. The door easily opens and closes over it also. Well worth the purchase!

I got this mat with the hopes of reducing some of the mud, dirt, dust, and overall debris that gets tracked into the house from the back yard. I knew from reading some of the reviews that it would probably shed a little, at least initially, and based on the type of mat it is, I kind of expected it anyway. So it was no surprise that during its first drying-cycle I had to clean out the lint-trap 3 times because it was completely full. Anyway, that's not a knock on this rug at all, it was expected, and I feel that any similar rug or towel would do the same. It held up perfectly through the gentle cycle in the washer, and it did take more than an hour to dry on the low cycle of our dryer.The unexpected surprise was what an instant hit this rug was with our pup. I hadn't even finished placing it by the back door when it became obvious this was going to be one of her favorite places to take a nap. LOL. The mat seems much more absorbent than our previous mat, and it is certainly pet-approved.

Over all great product. i might buy another one after testing this one out for long time. Was close to returning the product, but i bought another that is similar and I realized how good this product is. Some of the fibers might become loose which made me think the carpet is bad but it happened when I used it first and now it is fine. I guess few loose fibers silks.

I run a dog daycare/boarding business from my home and of course when I let the dogs out when its raining, they inevitably track mud back in the house. That was until I decided to give this rug a chance. Every mat out there claims to be amazing and super absorbent but this one passes the test. Dogs do NOT stop to wipe their feet so I purchased 2 of the largest ones to see how they'd work. And WOW! I cleaned my floors to really test it, and the dogs walk in and have to cross the 2 mats, but when they leave the last one, there is minimal tracking. Of course it isn't perfect, but it's close. The directions require you to wash prior to use and fibers DO come off the mat. But how many rugs/mats have you washed where this doesn't happen. I can honestly say none. I recommend washing this by itself and then wiping the washer clean afterwards, otherwise the fibers will get on your other belongings. This is a good price for the item. Even if it only lasts a few months due to the heavy traffic, I'm very pleased with how well it works now.

OK this is a great door mat, I have had two of them for several months now and I really like them. However if you buy it do not bring it into your house until you vacuum the crap out of it. I laid them out on my front porch and vacuumed them twice with my Goovi Cordless Vacuum. Then I washed them as the directions say to do and they still shed gobs of fiber. Since I washed them and put them down they haven't shed anything that I can tell and they get stuff off of your shoes like magic, I haven't had to clean any tracks on my white kitchen floor since I put them in.So yes I highly recommend this product and would buy it again but don't take this out of the box and throw it in your washer without vacuuming the crap out of it first. Luckily I read comments from others and knew about the shedding problem before they got here, I can't imagine the mess I would have had if I didn't.Assuming the manufacturer reads these comments, why don't You wash these things Before you ship them? Why leave your customers with the burden to finish Your Product? I am sure people would pay a couple dollars more for a great product that doesn't clog their washer and dryer with a gob of wet gooey fiber...

It's very nice and just what I expected from the description, however there is one little "bug in my rug"... As suggested by the manufacturer, I washed it in cold water in a front-load machine - No detergent, no fabric softener, just a quick cold wash. This is suppose to activate the absorption that this carpet claims to do. When I took it out to hang-dry it, I found a little rip right in the middle of the rubber backing. I'm a bit disappointed but it's also an easy fix with duct tape or whatever. I just hope it doesn't rip more every time I wash it. Thank you seller... All in all, I am very satisfied.

When you pull out the rug, the instructions says to wash it in cold water, low or delicate before use, and warning it sheds. I was shocked by how much it shed. I shook it out, the floor was covered, then threw it in the wash per instructions, and it is better after the wash, but I took one star off because it doesn't say anything about the shedding and I didn't expect to have to put it in the wash right away and had to wait for it to dry before I could use it; that was a hassle. But it does look very nice and hopefully it won't be shedding anymore.

This little rug washes easily, but my vacuum does not get all the cat hair. You will need a vacuum for high-pile, such as shag.
