★★★★★ "It says it's the best knee brace and it is. Great support and warmth, and very comfortable...a great price for a quality knee brace." Have you been struggling with knee problems, and been unable to find the right knee sleeve to address them? Some common knee sleeve and knee brace complaints include: - the material is too thin and rips or tears easily - not enough support is provided - the sleeve is too bulky, and becomes uncomfortable when bending the knee - improperly designed stitching results in chafing - the sleeve won't stay in place, and begins to loosen or sag as the day goes on The Crescendo Athletics knee sleeve solves all of these problems and more. High-density, durable neoprene supports the knee joint for all fitness activities and sports. The 100% latex-free 4mm neoprene provides support and stability; yet the smooth, contoured fit allows it to be worn discreetly underneath clothing. Adding to the superior comfort is the flat-seam design of the stitching, which eliminates potential chafing problems. Our knee braces are anatomically designed to stay secure, providing compression and warmth not only while engaging in fitness activities, but also during extended sessions of inactivity, such as sitting on a plane or at a desk. Sizing (Measure at the middle part of the knee, with your knee straight): Small = 10-12in / 25-30cm Medium = 12-14in / 30-35cm Large = 14-16in / 35-40cm ***Please measure carefully - the tricky thing about sizing a product intended to fit snugly is that it can be tough to get the measurements exactly right. But of course, if you do end up with a size that doesn't fit well, just let us know, and we'll make it right!***

If your knees can speak, they'd say OMG THANK YOU when you put this baby on.
Okay, so I wanted to give this sleeve a proper amount of time of use before I posted a review, my first review on Amazon mind you...and I am an avid Amazon shopper. I can honestly say, this sleeve has changed my life. I had severely sprained my right ankle a few years ago hiking through the Narrows at Zion. And because of that sprain, my right knee was also strained. After the near year-long recovery of the ankle, I found my right knee pained. Pained when I walked too much. Pained when I spent a day in high heels. Pained when I go to the gym and do my usual workouts: weights, squats, lunges, running, kickboxing, and various boot camp-esque situations. Upon recommendation from various sources, I started to look into knee braces. But braces are so large and clunky! And then I came about this knee brace - not as expensive as those $80 ones I see at fancy outdoor/sports stores, but still yielded such positive reviews. What sold me were all the reviews from people saying that they actually had surgery on their knees and now can do Crossfit with this sleeve. A) I hopefully am no where near surgery on the knee (I truly believe this sleeve will keep me from it) and B) My workouts, though intense by many standards, is no where near Crossfit-level of intensity. SOLD. So, the first time I used this sleeve, I felt like the cloud parted my eyes, and the sun shone ever so brighter. No, I'm not even exaggerating. My squats were lower. My lunges were up to form. Sure, the sleeve got sweaty - but if you're not sweating after a work out, then shame on you - don't ever tell people you work out without using air quotes. The sleeve is easy to clean - and reversible. After a while you don't even know it's on your knee anymore. I've logged 3 weeks of weekly gym workouts which includes at least 500 squats and lunges, and I've taken this baby on a 7.5 mile uphill hike. My knees - oh my knees. I cannot feel them, BECAUSE THERE IS NO PAIN. #takemymoney, Crescendo Athletics, because I cannot live without this sleeve now. #takemyfriendsmoney too because I've encouraged many people to buy this. And, actually, #takemymoneyagain because I'm now thinking about purchasing another one for my other knee just as a precaution. Or to just make a fashion statement in the gym, because nothing says hardcore than two knee sleeves supporting some perfect-formed super low squats.

GOOD KNEE SLEEVE
My knees when straightened and measured in the middle of the knee with a cloth tape, the circumference measures to 14.75 inches or about 37.5 cm.That being said, I didn't know whether to get the large ( 14-16in / 35-40cm) or medium (12-14in / 30-35cm ). Since they only had the medium in stock, i bought the medium to see how it would fit when i play basketball with it.So this is how it fits:VERY TIGHT WHEN DRY BUT I CAN STILL PUT IT ON WITHOUT TOO MUCH TROUBLE. REQUIRES MORE EFFORT TO BEND KNEES.DEFINITELY SUPPORTS MY KNEE AND KEEPS IT WARM.STARTED SWEATING WHILE PLAYING BASKETBALL AND BARELY FELT THESE THINGS WERE ON MY KNEE

Skeptical at first, but this sleeve really helped!
About 4.5 months ago, I hyperextended my knee playing floor hockey. I've had knee pain before (tendinitis), that I could put up with, but this pain was different. I'm a very active 37 year old woman. I run, bike, play ice hockey and soccer. I was miserable to be sidelined from the activities that I love. After resting the knee for a couple months, I tried going for an easy run and was very frustrated to find that the pain was still there. I tried a Velcro knee brace, but that just seemed to make the pain worse.A friend of mine that does Crossfit recommended I try a compression sleeve for my knee. I was very skeptical to try, but I was desperate to find something that could get me running again.I'm 6' tall and muscular, so when I measured my knee, the size chart said I needed a large. My Crescendo Athletics knee sleeve came, but when I tried it on, I was worried it'd be too loose and it wouldn't help. I have compression sleeves for my calves that are very tight and difficult to put on, so I was was expecting similar tightness for the knee sleeve.I went for my first run a couple weeks ago and to say I was thrilled is an understatement! I only ran 2 miles, but my knee felt great. Even better was the lack of pain in the days following the run (typically, my knee would hurt for days).I wanted to wait to review the sleeve until I had a number of runs under my belt. I've now gone on 5 runs (up to 5 miles--I'm slowly building up my endurance), including a hilly trail run and I am very happy with my knee sleeve! It is very comfortable to wear and I'm confident that it'll help me build back up to half-marathon distance.

For those long hikes with steep declines
I bought 2 for both knees prior to doing some major hiking in Yosemite, Zion, and Bryce. For very long hikes with steep descent, these really saved my knees by the end of the day. Most I've done was 7 hours and both legs felt very tired, but I knew if I didn't wear these that my knees would have gone out ages ago from constantly absorbing the rocky and steep decline. When wearing these, I forgot I was wearing them for rest of the day. It wasn't until I took them off that I realized how sweaty they got underneath and the compression really left a few imprints on my legs for the night. I didn't have the same reaction after the shorter hikes, but something to be cognizant with the compression. I would prefer to have this over damaged knees anyway. I haven't had any previous knee injuries and I'd like to keep it that way by preserving my knees to keep doing what I love. For anyone beginning to feel their knees weaken when hiking, I'd absolutely recommend buying these! Better to be preventive and preserve what you have than to injury them later! A wonderful purchase and I'm so glad I decided to get this before my major hikes.
