Adjust-A-Gate Steel Frame Anti Sag Adjustable Gate Building Kit with Patented Truss Cable System and Telescoping Bars, 3 Pack

I needed an affordable gate to cover 14' and this was a cheaper and better option that what the big stores had. I wanted the gate to be over 5' 1/2" tall. First, I followed the advice of other buyers on similar gates and added a fence cross beam hardware to add another 2"x4". Second, used screw hinge male on my posts (I did not wanted to change then and they were not strait). Third, once I had the gate at the right height and position I used tap screws on the gate hinges to ensure they will not move with time. Last, added wheels to help keep the gate from saging and making it work as needed.

Overall satisfaction of the product is very good, only problem I had was the wood I used (2x12 stacked vertically, gate span of 6'-7") was wet and too heavy for the hinge which caused the tack weld to separate. Good news was the manufacture quickly sent me new hinge. I changed out the 2" thick boards with dried 1" and works well

The gate frame worked well it helped me finish my project without too much trouble, I had already installed another gate with a smaller frame so that experience helped me a lot, i’am really pleased with the results, users may find it a little cumbersom but me it worked perfectly, I would use it again if I had to, good product.

Concept is great, but attention to detail is lacking. The cable and clamps are not stainless or zinc coated. 2 months and clamps, cables and screws are rusted. It has stained the cedar Fence boards. I will have to fix that this spring.

I only received parts and hardware for one gate. The description says that it is a 2 pack - does that mean I am missing the other gate or was this false advertising?

Easy to build and install. Perfect addition to any fencing project.
