Birthstone Afghans (Leisure Arts #2826) Paperback – February 1, 1996

I haven't had a chance to make all of the afghans in this book yet, but so far am very pleased. I own over a dozen books with afghan patterns and was pleased to find a nice variety of unique afghans. The instructions are clear with good illustrations and the book has call out boxes with instructions on how to do unique or less common stitches in the pattern, not in a separate section. I expect this will become one of my books that ends up with lots of tape on it as I use it over and over until the pages start falling out of the book.

I had a copy of the cover pattern for years. I finally started the afghan and misplaced the copy. I looked for the booklet and found it here! Great find. My afghan will be beautiful when finished.

I sell crochet, women's clothes and afghans. I almost never use patterns but I purchased this book and made one of the afghans for my husband and it is wonderful!

I bought the original pattern book 10 years ago, and lost it in a move. I was so happy to find another copy, as these are lovely single piece crocheted afgans. Very nice variety with easy to follow directions!

Great pattern book with good instructions. The only I would change, is that the patterns don't classify difficulty range. That would really be helpful.

I have had a quick loook and there are a few afghans that i would like to attempt one day when i have the time, it is a nice book to have if you are interested in making an afghan.
