I need extra frames for a photography exhibition, frames that will hang with other black metal frames. These are good looking metal frames, very similar to Nielson number 11's. The sides are held together at the corners with metal hidden corner brackets, and it doesn't seem like they are made to be disassembled. The frames come with glass, which is glued in place. Not an issue unless the glass gets broken.My photographs mounted on 11X14 museum board with an over-mat drop in from the back and are held in place with a stiff cardboard backing. The backer board has eight little swivel arms that hold it in place, and this would most likely be sufficient to keep things in place. However, the frames have 4 spring corner clips as well - a nice touch. Included with the package, and they are very well packed with plastic shipping corners, cellophane covering, and individually boxed, is an 11X14 mat with an 8X10 bevel window, something I don't need for my application.I didn't give 5 stars to the sturdiness because the two sawtooth hangers (one each for horizontal or vertical hanging) are embedded into the cardboard back board, like one sees in a cheap dime store picture frame. This seems like a weak spot in otherwise nice frames. The back board however is thick and stiff. Time will tell how well the permanently embedded hangers work. I prefer using picture hanging wire than these kinds of hangars.For the price, these are nice attractive gallery frames, easy to use, almost as good as Nielsons, but much cheaper.

I am very pleased with these frames. I have prints and photos that were professionally framed, and I can't tell the difference. I chose these because of the ivory colored matting, and I am also pleased with this. With black and white photos, pure white matting can make the whites look very gray. The ivory matting has just enough warmth to bring out the whites in these photos.I also like the mounting system for the matting and back board. There are four clips that snap into the corners to hold the materials in place. They are very easy to pop in and out making the process fast and simple. Two saw tooth hangers (for portrait and landscape orientations) are attached to the backboard. At first sight they appear fragile, but they seem to be working fine.There was one glitch with my order. I ordered 3 x black frames and received 2 x black and 1 x aluminum. The seller is pointing fingers at Amazon for the mistake. The aluminum colored frames are also very nice and I ended up keeping it for another project and ordering three more of them. Since the shipping error reflects on the seller and not the quality of the frame, I am not docking stars for this. Just be aware that if time is critical, you may have to deal with shipping errors.The frames were individually boxed with extra corner protection, and packed well for shipping. They arrived in perfect condition.I definitely recommend these frames, but be aware that the order may not be picked correctly.

I have looked so hard for the perfect frames and have ordered and returned many that just did not meet my expectations.These actually EXCEEDED my expectations! The frame in aluminum but definitely sturdy and looks very classy and expensive. I love that its glass and not plastic. Also the matting is the perfect off white color! I will be buying more soon!Also I appreciate the packaging, everything was great!

For the money, you absolutely can't beat this little frame. Sure, if you look at it from the back, with all the little metal tabs that hold the back in place, this is obviously not a high-end frame, but look at it from the front, once the frame is hung, and it looks like every bit like a really expensive frame. I have this in a room with many art pieces, most of which have been professionally framed, and this little frame looks right at home. You can't beat that.

Nice but beware your Honda have to stick off the wall quite far to hang these. I tried using command no damage hangers but they don't stick out far enough to catch the frame's jagged teeth thing.

Nice set for the price. Came well packaged and no blemishes on the frame. One of the mats does have a small silver mark/blemish on it but other than that they are great.

had no problem getting the backing out (simple clips, no bending of staples like the old days) and the frames were clean and strong
