Lawrence Commercial Lever Door Lock - Heavy Duty Locking Commercial Door Handle Keyed Entry, Grade 2 Door Handle with Lock and Key - Polished Brass, Entrance/Keylock Function

I bought this to replace a commercial "style" lockset on my condo which had suffered from sagging door handles for years and eventually stopped working altogether. Now that I see what a real commercial unit is like, the difference is night and day - the Lawrence unit is seriously good quality. This comes with both a 2 3/24" and 2 3/8" latch, not one of those cheesy adjustable doodads, and it includes strike plates for both wood (t-strike) and metal (ASA) doorframes, as well as all the mounting hardware you'll need. This just feels more secure than my previous lock, and has a very cool industrial look if that's what you're going for. Well worth the money. I agree with others here that the instructions are confusing - like they were badly translated from another language in some places. I've replaced locks before, so this wasn't too much of an issue for me, but it is strange for an American company to use such poor writing...

I was at a search for a lock handle for my new office and came across this product .It was really easy to install took me about 10 min .The handle is really Quality material . I am so happy with it . recommended!!!!

We installed these for restroom doors at one of our bus terminals. Great product with one issue, once turning the key in the lock you simply push the door and the outside handle has no purpose. This confuses persons trying to enter and we had to place signs stating to turn the key and push the door. Other than this it is a quality product for the $ you would spend elsewhere.

Our men's room doorknobs really seem to take a beating, and the most recent (and cheaper) version of this knob lasted only about 3 months before allowing it's lock to pop open when someone from the outside attempted to turn the knob -- not good.. This set, while pricier than the others, felt heavy and solid right out of the box - even our grouchy maintenance guy was impressed. So far, so good!

This is perhaps the worst experience I have ever had installing something so simple. The instructions were extremely confusing and many time completely incorrect. I have installed dozens of locks, door knobs, deadbolts and the like over the years. Never have I see anything so overly complicated and dysfunctional as this lock. In the end, it doesn't work. A waste of an hour and $100.

I purchased this product as an alternative to paying our HOA porter service $400 to replace a broken door lever on the neighborhood bathroom pool door. I've replaced regular door levers in my home and was really taking a gamble on my abilities here! The package arrived quickly, instructions were great, and the door lever is working!! Am I the favorite board member? Probably not. But we saved $300!

We had a door handle that basically didn't latch after a year and wasn't very sturdy, so this option was a great replacement that is hardy, strong, and looks great. It was a great purchase and really makes a difference to not have to slam doors multiple times to get them to latch so we can secure the door at the end of the day!

Product failed after 4 months. Plunger disconnected from activating mechanism. Couldn't open door. Looking for a way to send it back.So far no luck returning it. 10 year warranty as advertised is apparently bogus.

Speedy delivery, received it 2 days after ordering! This is a sturdy door handle of excellent quality, not a flimsy run of the mill handle. Installation was easy, now we’ll see how well it withstands the salty breezy Atlantic seaside weather. Worth paying extra for a handle of this quality, I ordered with confidence after receiving responses to my question.

Installed to replace a passage door handle on a commercial building back door. This one was quite a bit heavier and had more installation options than the one it replaced. Very happy with it so far and planning to order more to replace other sloppy handles. Definitely recommend it
