OMGAI Waterproof Meteor Shower Rain Lights - 30cm 8 Tubes Drop Icicle Snow Falling Raindrop Cascading Lights for Wedding Party Christmas, Shine White

I've purchased several brands of these falling rain lights in the past 10 years, and this set is the first I liked enough to make part of my "permanent" Christmas decoration regimen. These have a quality feel that makes me hope to have them for 20 years. They are constructed with high brightness, current technology smh 5050 LEDs that are about 3 times brighter than some others. The plastic tubes are relatively robust and formed in a pleasing spiral shape that diffuses the light and looks more attractive during the day. The set has 12 long 50 mm tubes, each containing 48 LED chips on a rigid strip. The blue color is rich and bright. The speed of sequential flashing is correct, and to my eye, it gives the impression of something (like rain) falling naturally. I liked the set well enough to purchase three more. All four sets came in good mechanical and electrical condition, and none failed in any respect during three weeks of exterior display. I can't really attest to the tubes' water resistance. We had one light rain, and none of the 48 tubes showed any condensation afterwards.Some ingenuity is required to hang these tubes. They have two small loops molded into the end caps where the wires enter the tubes. This year, I used 14 gauge copper wire threaded through both loops and over a branches in the tree I decided to decorate. This allowed me to make the tubes hang almost perpendicular to the ground, which I think looks best. My only complaints are (1) the length of wire between the tubes could be longer to allow more options of positioning them in a tree, and (2) the box they come in is not adequate to use for storage. If you're using the lights in an application other than a tree, the distance between them might be about right. I've ordered 3" x 30" mailing tubes to store them between seasons. I found 6 nice white tubes with caps on ebay for about $25.

Very bright and easy to install. They appear to be holding up well this far in the rain and what little snow we have had thus far. Believe me they will be truly tested in terms of snow because where I live in Erie Pennsylvania is named one of the top 5 “Snowiest Cities” in the United States. I placed the power plug that connects to the outlet end up under the eaves out of direct contact with the elements and seems to be working fine. No issues thus far and they have been up outside since the day after Thanksgiving. Have gotten many pleased compliments on the lights. So yes I am pleased with the purchase. The lights are beautiful and bright. Gave me the effect I wanted without breaking my wallet. The wires used in manufacturing the lights is a smaller gauge than what I am accustomed to seeing in outdoor lights, however they do the job. Not sure of the longevity but if you want something more you are going to pay more. (Always gets me when reading reviews how many people have these unrealistic expectations of a product, expecting a new Porsche for the price of a used V.W. Beetle! ). Again in closing I like the lights a lot. Bright, beautiful, easy to install and doesn’t break the bank. If I get one or two seasons out of them I’m satisfied with my purchase. Hope this helps. The media could not be loaded. Very pleasing effect. LEDs are cool-white. "Tail" effect suggests more comet than snowflakes, as does the speed. When first turned on, all tubes are 'in sync," but they drift apart over time, which is good, since random timing between tubes is more pleasing. Wire between tubes is about 13", so that is the maximum spacing when hung. Strings can be tied end-to-end. We are powering three strings using only one of the 5V power supplies that came with them. This is convenient, since AC power is needed only at one end of the group. No info on how many strings will run from a single power supply, but we can attest that at least three do. Still photos do not do them justice. Neither does my video, because they're much more impressive at night, but I wanted daylight to show the structure. In the dark, the impression is very, very good. We will likely buy more strings in the future. Recommended.

They are beautiful when lit, but I won't put them up until next year. I don't know how they hold up or what condition they will be in after use.MEILYHG SANTANA VEGAS asked me how long they are, so I unpacked one for you to see in the pics. From one connection to the other, its 9' not counting the plug. I don't know how many successfully work off of one circuit, either. We will see this Christmas and I will update my review.They are absolutely beautiful when plugged up....but, it rained after we put them up. All have moisture inside and the product description says waterproof, dust proof, corrosion resistant, etc. Not true. They rusted inside many filled to the brim with water. 3 don't work. Also, when you put them together, they won't work if twisted on the wrong side. I would connect one at a time turn on and then move on. When put together, take a sharpie and mark on one side to show correct circuit connection. Don't know if they will work after this season. They look bad during the day, but great at night. We are going to drill a small hole in the bottom to release the water....

Although these do not have that bulby look at the end (which I had hoped for) I am happy. They are straight sticks, and have an extra hole at the top to secure them from wind or movement. They are extremely easy to hang, and have a very bright white light display. These are not soft white by any means. But with coyotes in the back yard, they work perfectly to keep them out. I have 2 sets on the fence, and 2 sets in the outdoor tree. Both are lovely.

They are beautiful, put them in a tree outside. I gave 4* cause on the two set i bougth one tube dosent work. As for longevity, i can’t say, have use them for a month only. So far so good.

Looks very classy. Nice to have another light option for a special holidays occasion.Wire are very thin and my only complaint is the tube led light are light and will get blown up and stuck on the roof. Will have to revise how they will be hung.

We've had problems with this type of light before in their poor assembly. This set looks better in quality. We're hoping they last longer than our previous lights

I love these lights. They look awesome. I would want to recommend them to everyone. We get asked about them by random people passing by all the time. BUT.They were up for 3 weeks and worked great. Now they don't. The red is gone out of 3 of the 5 sets we bought. I am very disappointed. I read the reviews and hoped for the best.....I didn't even get 1 year out of these lights!!!! Not happy at ALL!!!Do not buy. I am warning you. Buy better quality from an actual store where you get your money back if they stop working in such a ridiculously short period of time.
