TYR Long Hair Silicone Swim Cap

I’m of a mixed heritage, I’m half black and half Caucasian, and both my parents have very thick hair so my hair is exceptionally thick and long, it reaches my waist.Regular swimming caps just pop off my head since they don’t fit. This one JUST managed to fit my thick bun at the back, and the hold is good. It does ride upwards a little when swimming but it doesn’t randomly pop off whilst you’re swimming. It’s easy to put on, and the black colour looks really stylish.I wouldn’t recommend this cap for ladies who have quite long and thick hair extensions/ braids, as your bun will be way too big for this cap and it wouldn’t fit.

This swim cap is absolutely terrific. I very seldom spend the time to write a product review however this cap is brilliant. I am a swimming coach, & swim a huge amount myself. Latest dip with my new cap & I noticed that some of my hair was still dry. (Not why I bought it but big plus). Mainly it doesn't squeeze my ears really tight, super easy to get on & don't feel like my head is going to pop after wearing it for 30 minutes. Should have got one of these years ago. So much pain could have been avoided!! Better late than never I guess.

Feel bad giving this cap any less than 3 stars as it does fit nicely and is comfortable. However, I bought it to keep my hair dry as I swim every day and it doesn't keep your hair dry at all. I had my hair in French plaits and they were absolutely soaking after a 30 min swim.So if you're looking for a comfy cap that creates less drag, this is your guy. If you want something to keep your hair dry, this is not your guy.

Does keep my long,very thick hair drier than most other caps. It supports a ponytail or bun under the cap unlike most other which I prefer to stuffing the hair in around the edges as the edges always get wet as the caps inevitably spring up a little when wearing (it might be because of my thick, bouncy hair!!) no matter how good your swimming hat. Works for me, very happy.

I have really long hair, down to my thighs and wanted to try surfing in Cornwall... as you do. It kept my hair dry the entire time I was in t hug e water the only downside was I had to keep pulling it back down every now and again but that's expected with movement.

My 7year old daughter needed a swimming hat for school. She has very long hair and all other hats I have tried fell off or wouldn't fit at all. This fit of this hat was perfect! Plus it is very bright pink, a hit with my daughter.Was delivered a day later than advised but that's not too much of an issue.

My last one lasted me years. I have longish and very thick hair which won't even begin to fit into your average cheapy thin swimming caps. This one has extra space for you to tie your hair up in a bun and fit it into the cap. The rubber is also strong and sturdy.I did try a competing brand but it was hopeless so I bought one of these again. I won't use any other brand of swim cap now!

Cap arrived very quickly and in good condition. Although like all swim hats you still get some part of your hair wet, this cap does work very well only the back of my hair got a little wet, I did not have to wash my hair. Would recommend if you are trying to protect your hair from chlorine.
