Riga Gold Smoked Sardines in Oil 250g (2-pack)

I was really looking forward to these, when I open the box from Amazon one jar was leaking so I had to throw it away. The one that was sealed was great. Great tasting. A wee bit on the expensive side.

I have ordered this product many times in the past and it has been wonderful. The sardines were firm and stacked upright in the jar. Both jars in this order were mushy and inedible. Unfortunately, they are not able to be returned so I wasted money.

Since I was a child, I was getting my hand slapped because i would always reach for this kind of smoked fish. Now there is amazon and i can eat as many or as much of these little fishies as I want. Thank you, future

The 2 bottles arrived intact. However, I soon realized there is no plastic seal so who knows if the caps were already opened before. Once I opened a bottle, I found out that both ends of the stacked sardines were smashed. The liquid it was sitting on appeared muddled. I tried a few pieces and yuck, this is not the sardines I was expecting. It was soggy and tasted bland. I would not recommend or buy this item again.
