Its a splitter-it works. But it does have nice extra tall standoffs for mounting so that you can still screw on the coax.

Looked like it solved my problem with receiving HD channels at first but after a couple weeks the problem got worse. I wound up going back to my old splitter. It was helpful because it confirms my suspicions about Verizon metering my signal.

Only splitting to 2 TVs so I'm not going amped just yet, this brand came recommended and so far it's doing what I expected it to do-split the signal without a noticeable drop. I have it under a protected house overhang and I insulated with dialectric grease for extra water resistance.

I used this splitter to replace a $60 one that failed after 5 years. So far so good. Nice that it does not require a power cord.

Digital over the air signal is lower in signal power .but being digital you may get away with less signal , except if level are too close to fringe e.i -20 db

used to split my signal to my new and old pvrs so i can watch them both without manually switching cables. No cut out problems or anything, works great!!
