I got this pillow at the beginning of the year for a trip to Mexico and love it for the plane and at home! The best part about it is that I can bend it around my neck and then straight up so that I can lean my head against the plane window - most comfortable travel pillow I've ever used for that reason alone! It has a medium firmness and it takes a good squeeze to feel the metal rod in it - not noticeable in my opinion. It's substantial enough to put under your chin to prevent your head from falling forward while napping - the ends snap together to keep it around your neck. The bag is thin but has held up well and having it on a carabiner is very helpful. I've washed the bag and the gray pillow cover a couple of times with no issues. The zipper has a thin pull but has held up fine. It also came with an eye cover and earplugs too. Great value!At home I sometimes use it under my neck while lying on my back or in various other positions because the flexibility gives so many options for support. I get migraines and having a pillow I can manipulate is often helpful.I was compelled to come here to write a review because I bought a very similar pillow from a different brand for my mom for Christmas and it was terrible - I didn't even need to take it out of the plastic to confirm I would want to return it. The only reason I went with it was because of the faster shipping. It also has thousands of good reviews so I figured that despite looking like an inferior product it might be ok but I should have just bought her the Goose pillow even though it would have been a little late. I paid more and got less - not as supportive, no travel bag, thinner cover, etc.I'm surprised the Goose pillow doesn't have more good reviews - I absolutely recommend it and hope to see it the next time I'm in the market for one again!

After many attempts, I finally found the perfect travel pillow. WOW!! I am very happy with this purchase! It is amazing how the pillow fits perfectly to the position you want, the internal plastic column is quite resistant. At first I was a little afraid that I could feel the plastic while I sleep, but NO, the memory foam is quite thick and very good quality so much that you do not even realize that the plastic is inside.I have not only used it while traveling, also watching a movie on the sofa or as a normal pillow on the bed, wherever you use it this pillow fits and exceeds your expectations.I can not imagine how a pillow could be better than this. I will never use those traditional U-shaped travel pillows that have always brought me severe neck pains. I just hope you get more colors, without a doubt I'll buy more!

Decided to try this one as it was a Lightning Deal and half the price of one that I was thinking of buying. Wanted a travel pillow since I get a lot of neck cramps during my travels. The pros: The price was good, it comes with a bag, cover, eye mask and ear plugs. The cover is soft and has a zipper to remove in order to wash. The cons: I've tried to maneuver it like they have in the picture where you can bend one side up while the other is around your neck. Doesn't work. The zipper is a little stiff and does feel like it's going to break or get caught in the material behind. This pillow is pretty stiff.I've tried many times to see if I can bend the one part up and have the other part bend around my neck so that it stays, but it won't work as it keeps leaning over. I must be doing something wrong. It doesn't feel like there is much cushion, you can squeeze it, but when you rest your head, it's stilff.

I bought this product for a trip to Spain. Knowing I had a long flight ahead (aisle seat going and window seat coming home) I wanted a pillow for some small hope of comfort and sleep. I brought a backpack on board, and was delighted that the pillow twisted into a circle that easily fit in my backpack. The pillow worked beautifully, I could twist it in any way that felt comfortable. The material was very soft against my face, and offered good support. I was particularly pleased with it when I had the aisle seat. I wrapped it around my neck and it held my head comfortably. I'm still not a good sleeper on a plane...but this pillow allowed me at least a few catnaps. I plan on taking this with me on all future trips - even the car. I highly recommend.

I wanted to like this more than I did. This review is hard to write. I think it’s a quality product and it’s likely to work for someone else, but not for me. I kept trying these neck/head support pillows for long flights, but they end up being one more thing to carry. But because this opens up as a long tube, I think it may adapt well to supporting my head or legs after an upcoming surgery. And it seems well made and it is soft and maleable. So how do you rate it - 5 stars but not for me? So I compromised at 4. It dies squish down if you end up putting it in your suitcase!

This is the best thing ever, really well made and such a well thought out design. It’s holds its shape, is soft, luxurious and washable. I utilized it on an 8 hr train ride and it made me forget I was on an 8 hr train ride originally intended to be only 5. Traditional neck pillows are awful and make me feel like a “fat guy in a little coat” this allows you to choose you own nap adventure and I appreciate that feature. My boyfriend uses it at home for his trash knees while sleeping and he has now demanded one for himself as well.

I expected the pillow to be longer and softer. There is a pointless snap to fasten it around your neck so it doesn't slip off. It can't be fastened unless you want to choke to death. If I curve it around the back of my neck and lean back, it doesn't stay in that position, it just starts expanding open. Also, it is very firm and hard.

Love the shape, support, softness and flexibility! What a unique way to cradle your head and neck. I purchased one for 4 of us traveling internationally later this year. So glad I did! Thank you. Excellent product! Fast shipping as well.
