Big sound small dimension . Perfect.
I needed a subwoofer for my small living room. I measured my space down to the centimeter. After reading positive reviews, I bought it with concerns because it is expensive. I hit 10 beautiful complements of the HiFi wife, which I installed: a Marantz Pm 6007 amplifier, Dali Spector 2 Tv 65" Samsung speakers. At first, I was only thinking about a soundbar because I don't have much space, but I was stubborn because I didn't want a plastic sound. And I decided on the above set. Subwoofer it is set to about 40% power and 50 Hz so as not to drown out the Dali speakers, which is fantastic, how much power it has and how beautifully musical it is7m7

Excellent bass sound from from smooth edged cube
I have added this subwoofer to a Brennan B2 that is already runnig cambridge audio minx MIn 22 speakers. The bass was somewhat lacking until I added this to the Brennan. The sound is amazing and makes any type of music more engaging. It adds another dimension to classical, vocal, jazz, world music, rock and pop. It adds a bass that is powerful but controlled. It has subtlety but is capable of filling a room. A brilliant piece of hifi kit. Not a cheap option but it is a sonic marvel for my set up.

Cambridge audio, subwoofer
For its size this subwoofer packs a punch. I have it however in a smallish room, turned down low. I would guess it would pass itself in a larger room. Easily connected too.

Bass doesn’t go as deep as advertised
It advertised as: 36Hz – 200Hz @ -6dB. The keyword here is -6dB.The bass starts to roll off at about 46Hz, check on my iPhone using a dB meter. There is hardly any SPL at 36Hz.Also it’s almost at full volume in my small study. So I doubt if can produce 300W of bass. However, I use it mainly to listen to music with my KEF LSX active speakers. The crossover is set max at 120Hz in order to turn the 2-way speakers into “2.5” way one. This setup has make the lower mid-range more detailed. So, yes, this sub has fulfill my main objective.

Great at low volumes
I have used this now for a month or so. It’s Really great at low volumes on cinema feed but crank it up and the you get lots of vibration, I had expected more from this brand. To be fair though, when playing music you can crank it up and the sound is pretty good.
