Looks difficult to assemble, but it's really easy to put together.
Going to be honest, the wires and adapter looked complicated when it came out the box; but it was easy to put together without the instructions. Once the Kinect was connected to my Windows 10 desktop, it only took a couple of minutes for the system to connect the device. This could easily then be run through discord and Skype platforms.

Allowed use of the Kinect on the Xbox X
Bought this to allow me to use the Kinect on my new Xbox X which I was disappointed with as it should already have the connection. This worked fine most of the time but appeared to need reconnecting when I switch the Xbox on. It did allow the kids to use the Kinect which was great.

Bought for Windows 10. Read this
Bought it to connect my kinect to my windows 10 pc. Hardware quality seems really good. Keep in mind that you need usb ports with specific chipsets (Intel or Renesas) for it to work. I had to order a pci-e USB 3.0 card.

Great Adapter for Windows 10
As all webcams are currently sold out during the Covid-19 crisis I had to get creative. After remembering I had a Xbox One Kinect collecting dust in a cupboard I wondered if it would work with a PC. I can confirm that with this adapter my Windows 10 PC running the latest updates detected it instantly, automatically installed it and started working with Skype and Teams. 5/5

Great kit
So now I can connect my kinect to my Xbox one X. I was concerned that I would need a power socket for.it to work but the usb is capable of being powered by the usb socket on the console.I use my.kinect for streaming while I play or as a microphone for in-game chat.

Found only can get old games or dance games for Xbox,

Expensive but unfortunately essential for using the Kinect
Unhappy that when I bought a Kinect at another store that they didn’t tell me I needed this. Expensive for what it is as it should have been included but that’s not Amazons fault. It is expensive for a lead though.

Power plug broken
Did not work as no power. Pin on the cheap power plug was broken off. I found a replacement power lead and then it worked fine. It's not an official xbox product but was bought as it was a good price and labelled as Amazon recommended.
