Old Dutch Cast Iron Osaka Teapot, 20-Ounce, Red

The recipient loves her teapot. It matches her decor, and it keeps her water hot long enough that she can more than a single cup of tea. It has a pleasing shape and heft as well. Came well packed.

This is my second Old Dutch Cast Iron Osaka teapot, so I obviously love them. They make tea drinking an experience! I love buying loose teas to use with these teapots, as they have a wonderful strainer inside that can accommodate many tea leaf sizes.I actually purchased the second one as a gift for my mother, and she has been using it a few days now and seems to enjoy it also.These are cute little teapots that brew a couple of cups of tea. You cannot use these teapots on the stove, but instead, heat water on the stove first and then pour it inside the teapot to brew.I plan on buying more of these little teapots!

Nice quality, but beware, paint will fade with use. Great, heavy cast iron!! Beautiful design. I've just had my color fade with tea drippings on the sides. I guess it could be painted again though.

I collect tea pots. When I looked them up on Amazon this one caught my eye. I was not disappointed. It has a cast iron outer shell and a porcelain lining. It is thick enough to hold the heat of the water just right. It has beautiful warmth and beauty. It’s just the right giftable item

I received it very quickly and just love it...It is small and I have it sitting on a hot ring on my table...I fixed my tea and the taste was superb in it...Must use once to get rid of residue in it but second pot I made was perfect. Kept it hot for 30 minutes and quite warm last 30 minutes. Holds at least 4 cups of tea even though it looks small with real tea cups...I like the green and would suggest if do not need to heat on stove to purchase this gem...I do like my afternoon tea with cookies....Enjoy.

I looooooove cast iron. The pot works really well, except I've had it for about a month now, and there are little pits in the pot where the enamel has come off. :( I have cleaned it the way it states in the instructions every time. I'm not sure if it's just a defect in the enamelling process or what.

Beautful pot and just the right size for tea for one. Cast iron keeps tea hot and i can't break it. Well worth the price.

It is smaller then what I was expecting. But I love the pot.

I love the design, it matches with the colour of my kitchen. Holds enough for 2 cups. I do find it cools down quickly

Excelente calidad. Solo comienza a oxidarse de la parte de la manija que se une con la tetera. Sin embargo esto no afecta en lo absoluto la infusión del te.
