I am not too clued into understanding solar aspects of things, but I needed a back up power supply and one that could be solar charged. I chose this unit as it was a small weight, camping UPS. I was a bit concerned as I was not sure how it would work with what I needed it for. I needed it to run my aquaponics system in case of a power failure (just had one and lost all fish.) I was a bit dismayed to read in the instruction manual about NOT having unit in a humid environment--I mean it was for camping so I figured it would be okay for a greenhouse with high humidity. As it was here at house, I decided to test it out. I first tested it for the bubbler in the system and the unit kept the bubbler (an air compressor, model SL 14, sold by Aquatic Eco-systems, Inc., it is a big unit for a 350 gallon tank) running for 21 hours continuously. Next I tested the unit with my pump system--two MD9 magdrv 115V 60 Hz pumps (sold by Pentair) that were plugged into a timer (Prime heavy duty 24 hour timer) and the unit kept them running for about 12 hours. The pumps were set to come on and run for 30 minutes and then be off for 90 minutes. So in a 12 hour span, I got 6 runs or 180 hours of both pumps working, meaning 3 hours of full time. This little, lightweight unit is great. I am hoping to buy solar panels for the recharging part in case of power outage again. I am quite happy with my purchase. However, time will tell how well unit is made regarding the moisture/usage over time. I am not sure if my review will help anyone but I hope so.

This product works really well. I took it on a three-day trip and was able to keep my phone, speaker, and older laptop charged. The generator still had 55% of its capacity left when I returned. It conveniently has both USB ports and standard wall-type plug ports, so you don’t have to find an adapter that fits your specific computer, I was able to use my computer’s power supply. The charge cable detaches from the unit, so you don’t have to worry about it getting tangled up with the cords you plug into it and comes with three cord options to charge it; wall, vehicle, or solar-panel if you have one. A suggestion to the company would be to have port covers to keep dust out.It does fit in a backpack, it just has to be vertical, so it takes up a little more space than I expected. After using this generator, I don’t mind trading that space for the extra battery life this product had over the older one I replaced it with. The only thing I was a little disappointed about is it doesn’t have a port for a vehicle jump-starter. Overall though I like this product and so far, it seems durable. In purchasing this product, I interacted with a company representative named Fannie, she was very patient and answered all my questions. The customer service through email was prompt and got back to me within a day.

I purchased this generator as it also has the ability to be used as a UPS for electronics meaning that it can be plugged in and maintaining a charge but also running the AC Inverter. I received this and unboxed it - was exactly as advertised - compact and light weight. I charged it and on our first night with it - the power went out unexpectedly! It was out for approximately 2 hours and ran my house WiFi (cable modem and separate router) and the ARLO base station. In two hours of usage - it only consumed 4% of the battery charge. When the power suddenly came on - no interruption to the internet signal and the unit immediately began to recharge. Works like a charm. This will last longer than any other UPS back up systems and for a lot less $$.

Works well so far. Holds a charge well so far, had it charged to 100%, and turned off the power to it for about 5 or 6 weeks before needing it for a car ride to plug in tablet for longer drive, it was still at 100% when I turned it back on, and charged the tablet while playing on it. It ended just under 80% fully chargingtablet. Tablet was at 4% battery when we plugged it in!I've got a small fan that uses 4 watts that works off it, and a light that uses 2 watts...both are USB attachments. Also have charged cellphone off it for testing purposes.UPDATE: It charges by wall in the time stated, aprox 6 hours. I've had mine for over a year now, and I just pulled it out after about 5 months of sitting their. I had fully charged it before I put it away, and when I turned it on to check, the battery was still fully charged. We then used it in the car, that same day to charge my laptop, and my child's tablet, and their was still plenty of power to use if for the same charging use the next 2 days!!...quarantine school work, while I was working without issues!! So thrilled!

I am using this as a UPS for my desktop computer, monitor, speakers and cable modem. Power went out twice yesterday and my computer and modem didn't miss a beat! This PWS works like a charm very pleased with my purchase!EDIT Bought two of these at the same time. One as a gift and one for myself. Mine has stopped charging to 100%. It will only charge to 67%. This is after only 2 months of use. Totally Unacceptable!UPDATE: Customer service and warranty are exceptional. They were very pleasant to deal with and replaced the faulty UPS very quickly. I have no complaint about their customer service, in fact I would like to thank them for caring about my investment in their product.However this is a review of the product and not their service. The original item delivered did not meet my expectations and after two months use it developed the above stated problem. I am changing my 1 star rating to 3 stars simply because of their customer service but would not recommend the UPS.

it was worth the wait. It's a newer model 293 mh vs 288 mh, there is also a 296 model. The unit charges 3 ways, car DC, WALL AC, and Solar. Each works good. We use this as a cpap backup, it powers a dream station for 6 hours. It does phone, laptop several times, good quality, flash light must be pressed in hard for 3 seconds to turn on or off. This ís rated 4-5 stars and worth it.
