Good, heavy material and lots of pockets. My husband is really tough on all clothes and these have lasted really well, I have washed them at 60C and there had been no shrinkage. The fit is true to size. I’d recommend them.

Quite thick material particularly in the really hot days.

But I disagree with my wife that you have to see clothes, then try them on. I think it's a case of "the weather is hot - I want a new pair of shorts - I place an order with the right waist size - I get the shorts the next day".

Button fell off back pocket as soon as I tried on. Not acceptable.

The zip is a bit rough but it is an excellent pair of shorts for the price worn for several weeks and has been through a n umber of washes and kept their colour and shape

Good quality and a perfect fit for me (36in). The cargo pockets are Velcro not buttons, but that's not a problem for me. The fly is a zip. Hip pockets decent size too.EDIT: After a while a very strange thing happened to these shorts. (3 pairs) The right hand back pocket buttons fell off on all 3! (see pics) Also, this is on a pocket that I never use. I've never had this problem with ANY shorts/trousers before. (see pic of older shorts) so can only surmise that there is a fault in the manufacturing process. Despite the initial good service from the seller, they didn't want to know afterwards. They seem to have never heard the phrase "of merchantable quality". I'm fairly sure that includes buttons staying on for at least a year!
